I stand corrected. But the point is the same...Gallatin will be the favorite but won't be a "clear-cut" winner as some are wanting to give them the title now.

If Hillsboro is number 2...then it is from a very very far distant....2. Antioch is waaay out in front. They just serious are.

Even though you know what they are going to do..it still is bothersome. Now I dont think they have enough pure talent to get it done this year...but they will win some games they aren't "supposed to". You can count on that.

Oh I think the best teams in that side of the district are Clarksville, Northeast, Rossview and HC...but in what order they come in...I have no idea. Dickson will be right there in the middle and a threat on any night as well... Hey Jimmy...here is my predictions for the whole region. 1. Northeast 2. Rossview 3. Clarksville 4. Henry Co. and 1. Gallatin 2. Wilson 3. Lavergne 4. Mt. Juliet so that's just one guys opinion.

I saw Henry Co, Northeast, and Clarksville this summer and they all looked to be playing great ball.

The Oakland side was about half full at the games start, and it was 3/4 full by half time...so it was an okay crowd...LaVergne's side was full counting the band...not as many Oakland fans as I would have thought...not as many people period...maybe because of all the other games that night...who knows.

LaVergne has been starting slow (Blackman/Oakland) and that might get them in trouble early. But AT will run all over Antioch's defense. They seem to be very sloppy on D from what I have seen/heard. But Antioch is more athletic than LaVergne--probably the first time that has been the case for the Wolverines so far this season. LaVergne 31 Antioch 13 Shouldn't be in question well before the game is over as long as the RINES come to the game focused..which I think they will considering this is somewhat of a rivalry game due to the close proximity. (not sure I spelled that right)

Guys don't be those guys who get on here and bash head coaches...even if you are right...which I am sure you think you are...it just makes you look silly...Hester is 3-0 and last night was a really good win...just support your team and the kids and be done with it...

Wingman...are you saying that Dickson will handle Henry in basketball season? Cause if I had to bet I would guess that's not the case either....

I did watch them scrimmage Henry County late spring and they got demolished. Henry Co. did finish fourth in the state last year, but graduated a lot of kids. I don't know if this helps you measure any thing, but I don't expect a whole lot from NE... GO Pats

Is it me or does the beginning of post season play have everyone just a little bit too nervous to talk any hype about their team in due to the playoffs being upon us?

I have never seen either of these two teams play but just from looking at scores and knowing about this district somewhat I would say it seems like it's gonna be a close one. What type of game does it need to be for either team to win?

I was thinking we would just try to make all of our shots as part of the strategy as well...do you think that would be a good plan PatFan20....oh wise one!

Oh how did our girls do? I hadn't heard. Hopefully it will be a big crowd, we need more and more HC students to come. Although that might be down since HC isn't in school today...but hopefully there will be a big crowd. I am gonna be listening on the radio and I am sure I will be a nervous wreck!

Okay today is the big day... The start of the new season. What is your gut feeling? Come on Red Dawn, Jimmy, wingman, professor chaos?, redpride, patfan20, butter bean...let's talk about this. I can't just sit here all day and wait! What's the game plan?

What time does this game start? I heard it was an earlier game. Should be a really good one!

Look for Kenwood to score first and hold the ball the rest of the game... Final: Kenwood 9 Clarksville 6 An old fashioned hold the ball all game...gameplan. Maybe the only way they could win. I think they should try it!

I really think that HC will come to play Friday night. Their guards are much stronger...and I wasnt impressed with any of the guards from Rossview. The little 5'8 guard slopped in one three that I can remember, and then #22 made two I think...but even so I didn't think they were all that impressive so I would agree with TnBall and give the guard edge to HC... Inside #50 just took over in the 4th. I think that HC will make the adjustments and will possibly even open this game up before it's all over...especially if they can somehow put together 4 quarters. They have played 4 quarters about 5 times this year--if that many. Keep in mind...when Rossview came to HC the first time HC was up about 10 or so at the half and let Rossview back into the game down the stretch...but really even thoug the game was close...it wasnt really a game you felt like HC was gonna lose. And Tuesday night HC was up 7...let Rossview cut it to 2 on 2 straight turnovers...and then HC pushed it back to 7 before the half (and had all the momentum). But once again HC gave the game back to Rossview in the 2nd half because they lost their focus. I really think that if HC plays all night long with focus and determination they have the skill and depth to open it up and maybe even win by 12-15. HC is definitely a more talented team. Of course the best team or most talented team doesn't always get it done. I sure hope we can get this one though. Good luck Pats! Play your butts off!
