  1. Maybe it's just me, but I have a problem with someone lobbying for a job in the newspaper. Maybe Fuller got a raw deal the first time around but that doesn't mean he should automatically get the job back. Is it possible that this article came out to ward off some of the other possible candidates? Who wrote that article?
  2. It's just like every other year. Lipscomb and everybody else. The real challenge comes for Libscomb in the region.
  3. Obviously Smyrna has some good athletes if you look at football. It was probably just time for a change.
  4. Good Luck to the new coach. Who gets the Overton job now? Will it be another head coach?
  5. It has to be close now, any news?
  6. Better question is how many times has he been asked to leave a job? Big diference between him and Harris on a personal level.
  7. I can't imagine open enrollment changing at Hillsboro. It got so low a few years ago they had to take a portion of the Overton zone. Without open enrollment, they would be dead in the water even at 3A.
  8. How much diference can there be in playing football for Stratford and playing a split schedule for East Lit? Either way, the coaches are going to have to help the kids get scholarships. At 1-9 I don't think recruiters are going to flock to Stratford looking for players. Who would you rather have helping you find a place to play, Coach Spears or Coach Smith? I think its a wash for the kids at East. They will just have to get some help to find a college to play for. Anyway, who are the seniors? Are they good enough to get a scholarship?
  9. They have some tallent. Do you think Nollner will want the job? /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  10. He only wants ready made teams from what I understand. That lets out Cane Ridge and Glencliff.
  11. I agree, good post westtnbballer!
  12. These state tournament officials are not very good. The TSSAA makes a big deal out of doing things right, they need to evaluate the quality of officials in the state. The charge was not a good call but what about the temper tantrum that started with Torry ripping his jersey out of his shorts. Any other game this would have been a technical foul. The officiating crew did a great job of embarrassing themselves in front of a statewide audience. Torry not only made a fool of himself, he showed up the officiating crew and the tssaa.
  13. Sounds like a member of the Crowder family.
