i attended the antioch game and brentwood gave them a scare. brentwood was down 2 with 4 minutes left but the bears turned up the defensive pressure and pulled away late. i think antioch will give franklin trouble inside and on the glass. if antioch shoots as well as they did tonight franklin has very little chance. brentwood showed potential for next year as all of their points were scored by juniors. they have a nice inside-out combo with teichman and hood. they should challenge the rebels for the top spot next season.

Who do you guys think will make the all tournament team?

The case against Young is that he doesn't lead his team in scoring and Franklin can win without him having big games. And should Kelly be awarded the MVP when his team was undefeated without him? that being said there arent many other choices out there. maybe mclemore but he laid an egg friday in a big game

McLemore is the district's highest scoring guard and 4th highest scorer behing Kelly Morris and Teichmann

Is the tournament seeding set or could Friday's games have an impact on seeding? As of now 1 Franklin vs 8 Overton 2 Centennial vs 7 Hillwood 3 Hillsboro vs 6 Independence 4 Ravenwood vs 5 Brentwood first round games are played at higher seeded teams gym

there are around 5-6 D1 players in 11-AAA

i don't think ravenwood will win this. they had their chance when franklin came to ravenwood and blew it. The only games that franklin should be worried about is going to brentwood and then at centennial. both have the inside presence to cause the rebels problems and shooters that could get hot and possibly cause an upset. not saying franklin will lose, but watch out for these games.

Franklin beat brentwood by 10 at home. Highly competitive game. Peyton Henry stepped up for Franklin. Teichmann was a force for Brentwood in the 2nd half but Franklin never vanquished the lead. Wil Franklin lose in the district this year??

So all the holiday tournaments are over, and district play is about to begin again.... can't wait 1. Franklin 4-0 had 2 losses to tough competition in florida T2. Ravenwood 3-1 made finals and placed 2nd with loss to clarksville NE in williamson co invitational T2. Brentwood 3-1 placed 2nd with loss to mt juliet at father ryan christmas tournament 4. Hillsboro 2-2 placed 3rd at father ryan christmas tournament 5. Centennial 2-2 went 4-0 at a tournament in florida 6. Independence 1-3 had good showing at battle for the state placing 3rd 7. Overton 1-3 placed 5th in overton christmas tournament 8. Hillwood 0-4 not sure where they went any more info/thoughts???

Centennial at Brentwood should be a great one. Kelly and Teichmann should be a good battle. also bruce pearl is supposed to be in the stands to watch drew. should start around 730

Morris is a very good player, but Drew is by far the best player in the district. Morris is in the second tier of players with Michael Young, Kyle Teichman, Kevin Kegarese (sp?), and Mcmillan from hillsboro
