I never said anything about being a powerhouse. I said anything that was good at Antioch she destroyed. We went from a reward school to a priority school in her first year, so don't throw test scores out there because that is false.

the downfall of antioch started when shawn joseph took over metro schools. he brought in keiva wiley as principal and her short tenure resulted in the systematic tearing down of everyting good at antioch. it is a shame that someone as unqualified, idiotic... could have the disastrous impact. her reach has now impacted overton because the guy she hired to replace wood has absolutley no control or anything else that a football coach needs... she had no reason to fire wood who won 3 games in his first year back. this after i believe antioch had lost around 15 games in a row including an 0-11 campaign the year before.

Bad decision in my opinion to punish over tonight this harshly.

Your first sentence made me laugh. That day is gone forever. Everything in metro is backwards. The school that I am at spends 90 percent of the time on the kids that cause problems but only make up about 5 percent of the enrollment. In most cases they let kids off the hook because they will find fault with the teacher that reported behavior problem.

i have an issue with some of these post. yeah our team is really struggling. yeah they don't compare to some of the teams of the past. the music thing happened but it was quickly taken care of. as far as our school going downhill fast, not even close. as a guy who has been in the building since the first day it opened,i can tell you it has never been better. not even close.

I don't know what you are talking about when it comes to Marysville. Bruindad got on me because I mispelled kiedel, so I am running with it. you are correct that wood got screwed big time. however crawford is not an innocent. he was contacted by keydel about a month into the season about coming back to bwood. they waited until this week to announce to try to hide that fact.

i am very biased. i coached with him for years and known him for a bunch more. the job he did at antioch was outstanding 38-39 record, playoffs 5 times,the number of players that were able to go to college, pretty dang good. have your opinion, i good with that, but i got mine too. bush

They just got rid of the best choice. Don't matter who they hire. Being from Lebanon all this parent running the administration has a very familiar feeling. But on the bright side look how good Lebanon has been over the last few years.
