Monterey was able to pull out a win over Red Boiling Springs in OT. Score 57 to 52. Taylor Atkins led the Wildcats with 18 points. Molly Heady had 14. For RBS Lace Colter had 5 3's and 18 points (I think). RBS had 3 players to foul out (Colter, Copas, & Agular). Monterey had 2 fouling out (Sells & Paschal). To say the least, RBS coach was not happy!

I was a not-plus member before reading this "thread". I'm now Plus. Great place to learn alot about what's going on in girl's basketball.

Had the link from last year bookmarked. Changed the date from 2006 to 2007 and the file for this year came up. Not sure what the as of date is but it is has some games from the Christmas tournaments included. The 3 point, rebounds and assist links for 2007 seem to be blank.

White County lost to West this morning 39 to 54 in the Super 16 at Bearden. They will play tomorrow at 8:30 central time against Cape Coral FL. Cape Coral lost to Heritage 38 to 48.

Monterey did not play all that well and Coalfield has some pretty good players. Coalfield played very rough with lots of elbows flying. There were some strange calls going both ways. Both teams missed lots of free throws. It was not pretty. Monterey is going to have to step up their game to make any showing for tournament time.
