Once again you have hit the nail on the head. If more worried about the spirit of the boys and what we could do to help them it would be nice. I like KJ, he is one of my favorite players, but it does get old reading how he is the only one playing with heart and giving it all. Do I believe that statement to be true? Absolutely not. I do believe he is one of the key players, but i also believe all the hype he gets from the papers can lead to resentment from others. I feel the majority work as a team, I hear them encouraging each other I also hear them getting mad at each other. As it should be. When I started this all I wanted to make aware was the treatment these boys are receiving. Of course if we were winning we wouldnt be hearing all the belittling that we are. I just want to say to the players I am sorry for what you are having to endure, hold your head high and play hard. There are a lot that believe in you.

Do I think Coffee will win? No. Does this mean I have given up on CC? No. I still believe they are a great bunch of boys. There is a lot of talent on this team and for some reason "I" feel the coaches are not bringing that out in the players. You CANNOT belittle the players by telling them they s--- , or that they are horrible. How can that be motivational. By telling the team after the games that you are embarassed is a great speech. Nunley keep it up, your words of wisdom inspire us all. I feel Wilson Central is in a different league than we are. But that is fine it is supposed to make you play better. And contrary to papers and coaches the boys are playing with their hearts and giving it their all. But hearing how bad you are all the time can take the wind out of your sails.

Maybe sometimes when a post is made it is to hype up the players that read this. I might not always feel CC is the better team but I still root for them and hopefully encourage the players. I eat crow but I do it in jest I dont take everything that is said bad about CC and cry about it. I realize these are posts and not gospel.

If your team was so full of talent then why didn't they win. If they were so good and coffee county has a lack of talent why didn't MJ run rule them or even just score more? Are you telling me that your bracketology theory also prevents opponents from doing their job and beating the other team. Or are you saying that the umps caused your team to not outscore CC in all those innings. Give me a break. Quit whining and accept what it is, that night CC was the better team.

Normally I would agree that losing 2 or 3 players does not hurt a team but in this case it all speaks for itself. Something is not right in Raider camp. Jones may have been successful at some point in time so why can't he be now. Supposed to have had a very talented bunch of kids. So did the ones that leave really hurt the team or is Jones not capable of doing his job. Part of your job is to gain respect from your players and to give respect, does he? Before season began I had high hopes for this Coffee County team, having said that, they have not lived up to my expectations. Thought for sure they would win district. Not looking too good there. Maybe disctrict tournament? Not holding my breath. Maybe they will come back and surprise me. Hope so.

To you and a lot he may be a winner. To me he is someone that came in helped turn a program around (which wasn't hard considering who he replaced) and when he couldn't do no more, such as win the "big" games.....he left.

Hopefully Nunley will do a lot more different stuff than Price let them. Kids practiced different plays all the time but they never got to use during games. Always the same. Hopefully Nunley won't be so closed minded.

Coffee County's kicker Kevin Brown lost his brother yesterday in a car wreck. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
