  1. That's correct prophet. Rain, snow, sleet, or hail there's no way Northside can compete with Henry County. I know it's fun to sit on here and discuss it for something to do, but let's be honest guys.
  2. The question is how far does playing harder than your opponents actually take you?
  3. 10AAA will be competitive this year. Clarksville is preseason favorite as they should be. Rossview will be competitive as should North East. Not quite sure how those of you on here have put H.C. down behind Dickson and even Northeast, who they swept both last year and only graduated one kid. I know they're not up here in the Clarksville area and don't get as much exposure as our other teams do, but I think there is something special going on down there. I have a cousin who lives in Paris and he tells me that the new coach is really turning things around and that the kids have worked harder than I would believe this off-season. Springfield shouldn't be too strong after graduating ten kids and Kenwood is just too wild.
  4. Rossview won the first battle by 3 this week. Henry had beaten them by four earlier in the year. They match-up again this Friday for the rights to move on in tourney play. One team goes on, the other goes home. Who do you got this third time around?
  5. Lets go Big Red! Get a big crowd out there and get there early. Those things will make a difference. Come out and support your team!
  6. Doesn't sound like any dampening going on. Just stating the facts, didn't say that's why they lost, maybe they would have lost by 100 if he had played. Someone just asked for details and then he gave them. I guess you can see on Friday if that kid would have made any difference...
  7. I know I may be the lone ranger on this, but I feel like Henry County's still gonna make some noise this postseason. Looks like they've finally found an inside prescence, and their defense is pretty good. Just need the perimeter players to step it back up to the way they have performed a lot this year. I think Henry has all the tools to pull off a few upsets and surprise some people. Hopefully they can still turn it on before it's too late
  8. Congrats to HC on a good fought game last night! They didn't string four quarter together, but I'd say they did a good job for 3 and a half. CHS had a run to start the third that HC never quite recovered from. CHS is a very solid ball team (ranked #4 in the state) and HC showed some great strides proving that they are capable of playing with anyone. Much improved this time around boys! Ball game ended up 15, well I guess actually 17 since CHS tried for an alley-oop at the buzzer, (not sure about those tactics when you already have the game won), but anyways... Great job Patritots keep working and you'll have a chance to do something great this year!! Go Big Red!
  9. Wow and you really go out on a limb on those predictions don't you? It's real risky to take Clarksville in this game, but good luck on another correct prediction! LOL.
  10. Hopefully HC can step it up tomorrow. Clarksville is loaded and is to the eye of the beholder the favorite, but I believe in these young kids and feel that if anyone is to stop Clarksville this year that they have the best chance. They just have to play four solid quarters of basketball. I think they will be better prepared this time around than they were the first time. Good luck Pats!
  11. Agreed.. Indeed...He's not my savior!
  12. Seems like three teams are out in front with a comfortable lead... I've seen most of these teams play and I think the last few games of the year and the tourneys gonna be very exciting. I must have caught springfield on a bad night, but I am surprised that Henry didn't beat them even at their place. I don't know if anyone can play with Clarksville yet, but there's still a month to go before the tourney starts. Looking forward to some more good basketball.
  13. Springfield's not bad, I'll give you that.
