Everyone keeps talking about these two teams supposed high-octane offenses and how anything can happen and it just depends on who gets hot... What about the old adage that DEFENSE wins championships?!? The team with the better defense wins friday night! That team just happens to be the home team, HC in a landslide 31 to 14

It is clear that Clarksville is a much more basketball-oriented town than football. Guys, let's be honest, none of the schools in Clarksville are really that good at football. In bball, They have sent a team to the state tourney the last 3 years and all have made impressive showings. Henry County obviously has something going in football, hard to argue with the last few years. Sorry to say but what you consider good in football in clarksville isn't measured by the same measuring stick that we would use out here. It's just a different beast altogether. I think henry county's team is clearly superior. I will be surprised if it is a game at all, but we'll see on the field tomorrow night....

Siegel will roll through that district easily. They are far superior to anyone else in that district. Most games will be won by double digits.

It is a different animal in AAA as you will see. There will be few 40 50 point wins, even against what would be considered bad AAA teams. It's just a whole different level, but time will show that. Looks like its a good district to start in for sure, could be a lot worse

Well from what I can tell, is things are heading in the right direction. As a fan I really like some of the things I am seeing, just be patient and keep showing support and good things will come

Well that's just so hard though because its a good 2 and a half to 3 hour trip to play those teams, unless maybe they'd play on a saturday. Probably just hard for administrators to allow that on a school night. But I do wish it was closer because I would like to see that happen as well and maybe it will. Also, 3 out of the 5 starters thus year did were playing their first year in varsity basketball. So all that considered is why I am encouraged and excited about next year. Its tough to make a long post season run the first time kids go through it. It can happen, but there's usually a learning curve kids have to go through. I think next year they will have a lot more experience to hopefully make a long run. I think they have all the right tools in place

Congrats on a great season patriots, I can't wait for next year as they return 4 starters, 3 who were on all tourney team and 1 who was district mvp! Gonna be a long wait, but well worth it because big things are gonna happen!!! Keep your heads up, we're all proud of what you've accomplished

That's a good question. I really don't know much about Wilson Central. I have been trying to scavenge and find some things out about them, but unfortunately I haven't seen them play this year since they are so far away. From what little I have found it sounds to me like both have strong guard play with some experience. I think they both are well coached and kids play hard. However, I really like Henry County in this matchup. I just really think these kids are gonna get it done and have quite a bit of business left to handle before their season comes to a halt this year.
