Farragut 03 and 04

Yeah he usually shows good sportsmanship but he made a bad mistake in the championship game but he also had a 4.2 GPA during his high school career which is pretty impressive

Dins i promise u that was the first (and last) time i have ever made that gesture. I was in the heat of the moment and i let my emotions get the best of me.

Yes he lead Farragut and Backstrom was second with 23 goals and 21 assists.

Ok im gonna try to put an end to this. Im Ben Backstrom and first off i want to say that i got caught up in the moment and i let my emotions get the best of me and im sorry for what i did. The bearden player stole the ball from me so i chased him down and when i caught up to him and poked the ball away he decided to take a huge dive. The ref called a foul and this really frustrated me for some reason. So i called the bearden player a woman (in different terms) and made a womans body part with my hands (i know very inappropriate). I immediately regretted my actions especially when i received a double yellow for "taunting" and had to leave the game with about 6 minutes left. Luckily my teammates came through for me and finished off the game. Pseudo im not even going to say anything about you or ur family and i knew all u needed was one thing to again start hatin on me. But we won state so its all good in da hood. I hope this clears up this sticky situation. And i will end this with one of my favorite quotes "Dont hate the player, hate the game" -Ben Tron Backstrom

Well for Farragut Jake Russell (23 goals 12 assists) and Ben Backstrom (20 goals 17 assists) are their two forwards so they have some offensive power

Come on now. The Bearden/Farragut rivalry has been going on for a very long time and is one of the best rivalries in the state. The CAK/Catholic rivalry really doesnt compare yet. Maybe in the years to come but for right now the Bearden/Farragut legacy is comparable to none. And from watching tons of knoxville high school games over the past decade i would never say that any game is "more intense" than a Bearden/Farragut game.

Farragut didnt score in the second half for 3 reasons 1) they didnt play the starters 2) it was a 25 minute second half 3) i heard they were only allowed to shoot from outside the 18

yeah u were wrong. i heard they scored 7 goals in the first half and played their second team in a 25 minute second half. sounds pretty easy to me

Well the "next state champions" have to beat Bearden Tuesday and I really dont see that happening.
