  1. Thanks Loren, i'm expecting big things from you /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> oh yeah kudos to dyersburg. I think they ran outstanding and represented the west really well. They deserve a slap on the back. It's been good knowing mark. . too bad i sent an assassin to take care of him tonight at his McKenzie home for being too much of a threat /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> jk He and conig are the guys to watch in the 3200. along with jumpin jack kaiser with his super fast kick at the end of race. the 32 will be very competitive this year. a lot of talent. Don't leave out Jeff Musick either! ol' snyder will want to make it after missing it by 2 tenths or whatever it was. Those guys are tough. very proud of the determination of the athletes' at state. again great job by everybody
  2. Be easy on Conig. Congrats to everyone this season. Admired everyone's performances, the hard work payed off. I have enjoyed the time i've spent with you all. Had a whole lot of fun my 4 years of cross. Thanks for those who believed in me, and those who pulled for me. Glad to see A-AA continue to assert itself out of the pee wee league and into a more competitive division. My two runners that i was impressed with the most year was teammate steven snyder, going from 7th last year to 3rd this year, but Loren Newsom as well. Honorable mention is deserved towards these two. Micah did indeed run 1:58 at the steeple, barefoot. but he did it skipping the last 200 meters.
  3. Macon County will be running in the gold race /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  4. The silver race may not have much competition, but the gold race is stacked with Sonnenfeldt, Helton, Rainey, and McKelvey in it. . Pszenitzki was referring to the MSCCA Preseason meet that was held yesterday at sharp springs in Symrna where the top 6 to 7 runners ran an additional 2 tenths (possibly more) by running a wrong route =/ and i being one of them

    To A/AA

#20 oneal braden, is not from mc i guess it was just a typo. where is this freakin greene devils course? those times are completely absurd, conig how ya been doin?
  6. my predictions for teams: USJC MLK has the talent. . . can they use it? DL station camp FRA
  7. . . . i'm still not counting him out this xc season
  8. haha you edged me out at state. i'll always remember that. . . if you're who i'm thinking of. . . conig was right there behind us. . .anybody know the whereabouts of ole' jackson bliton?
  9. I ran a 20:18 my freshman year at cookeville for my very first race, then a 19:14, then a 18:40, 18:25 and eventually started hitting mid 17s that was when we ran 3 miles instead of the 5k
  10. throw in riley young BA will have somebody. garrett carmichael from ensworth they'll have a decent team as well. trust me /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> (Ensworth) nick anneken is the returning favorite
  11. yeah i agree with you. helton improved 19 or 20ish seconds for the ######. 9:58 (9:59) freshman year ? to a 9:39 soph. year. and chandler ran very well. had a great 32 at state and a very good time in the 16 at NON 9:26/4:19 and ran very well again at FL South 15:35 4 others are Joe Coneo, Nate Edelman, Zeek Raney, and his brother Jake had a decent year as a freshman. Joe = great year in cross and pretty good miler and half miler Nate ran very well = 4:29 miler, 9:31 in the 32 at Mobile Meet of Champ. 15:45 at FL South. Zeek = 16:23 was his best 5k time. thought he was decent at the 32. Jake = decent year in cross and decent as well in the 32.
  12. that's pretty impressive. i would say adam cunningham and andrew harper have had exceptional seasons. both great runners in the 1600 and harper having ran well in the 800 also
  13. nice conig /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> and notice our average time is better than MLK's, but yet they still beat us.. hmm lol..
  14. who would you guys say made the best transition from last year to this year? [sophomore year to junior year being the transition (using sophomore&junior as an example)] who's your most improved runner from last year to this year in track? (or xc) who has made the best approach and improved the most?
  15. yeah i agree with you. MLK USJC DL., probably the teams to beat. top 5 being.. USJC. MLK DC JCS MC
  16. haha thanks conig. should be an interesting season., conig is already in shape to do a 5k. i'm taking time off. so he's a step ahead of me., watch out for mlk this season. and there's probably another great a/aa admist us. just dunno who yet
  17. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> this is hilarious. i love coacht forums.
  18. yeah i'm going to have to back the crip up on this one. i think keveren ran 1:58 as a sophomore, so did clay adams as a soph., rob sorrell (soph.), and i could go on. actually riley young ran 1:58 as a freshman.
  19. good thing he's not a/aa. i'd have to say sonnenfeldt is the best sophomore in tennessee. 4:24 1600, 9:39 3200, 15:57 5k. recognition also goes to riley young, nick anneken, conig, drew thompson, josh helton, will raby, kyle mclarty, zach turner, matthew kenwright < the majority of those coming off of the topic from tnrunner. every class has strong athletes- the seniors this year, the juniors, sophomores.,etc. for the freshman - watch out for garrett carmichael - he's an animal.
  20. yes i'd have to agree. 9:40 at the vol classic. that's very good. 4:29 mile also. i'm excited to race the 32 tomorrow at the mid. tenn. conf. meet /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  21. Great 8 Predictions for the 16 and 32-right now!- 16 obviously goes to keveren then everybody runs almost similar times..but i'd say josh helton for 2nd.. 32 predictions??
  22. first of all elizabethon,if you know anything about who is who in xc and track then you know that clay adams and eric schmidt aren't 100 sprinters-you should've known conig was talking about the 32., and nope sorry not attending the vol classic.,i'll be at the great 8 and now that i think about it sophomores that run sub 10 for the 32-it isn't uncommon-riley young, nick annekan, bumbalough, clay hannah, and buttloads more., so elizabethon, nobody really cares about your crap and don't say something unless you have the ability to back it up
  23. hahaha that's the funniest thing i've ever read /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  24. haha yeah really? who would win it? what did he run? my section is going to be ridiculous to make it to state in anything! but what's new? 2 sub 10 runners in the 3200 coming back.,madden with a 10:17 already.,the 16 is stacked.,800=impossible., can't wait to see what everybody has at busters this FRIDAY!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> yikes! conig your section is tough too right? as of right now what are the best times coming out of your sectionals? i.e. best time in clabo's section as of right now is probably his 3200. what is the best time as of right now in the west, middle, east? in any event..
  25. haha /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> 64? geez conig.,you were trying to run clabo's mile (4:28) in the ground., that's what all these races before sub sections and sections and state are for.,to condition and to learn /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> i remember at stan mcnabb last week i ran with a sinus infection in the mile and i hit the 200 at 30 with chris berry 5 strides ahead of me.,i was trying to run 4 flat and he was trying to run sub 4 haha jk! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
