  1. This should be a good game. I know the patriots were upset with their tie earlier. These two teams can really outplay each other depending on how they come out. Every soccer fan in the Chattanooga area should turn out to see the clash of the Chattanooga titans.
  2. Many of the goals scored against csas were against weaker teams where the starting line-up was sitting. Of course a team that can hold web and Baylor to ties can shut out weaker teams like Tyner and Tellico with all their starters in the line up. ps. congrats on getting the site on your computer.
  3. I'm confused at why you would say the defense is the weakest part of the team. All other accounts have said just the opposite. Just wondering what your reasoning was?
  4. what time is the game and where?
  5. We played Sequoya this year for the first time. while they were a new team their goalkeeper really stood out i would look to see him develop technically in the upcoming years.
  6. McMminn wins 1-0 in over time against Sweetwater. CSAS and McMinn play today it should be a good game.
  7. I think any keeper knows they are nothing without a good back line. The same holds true for the back line too. It is, or should be, the keeper that sorts out the defense. Saying this Tyner’s keeper has proven himself against good teams in the Chattanooga area.
  8. This was not CSAS' best game however; they did come out with a solid result. Not sure, what it was but CSAS looked very flat in the first half. During the second half CSAS looked more at Baylor’s goal getting some good balls into kit.
  9. I'm not sure if this is what he is talking about but in our area many good soccer players come and have their dads take a Cushy job title like assistant assistant coach or the school will hire a new coach and a player will live with the coach. public schools are not able to do this. not saying that’s cheating as much as it is looking around the roles. in my experience you just have to grit your teeth and deal with it.
  10. how are magnet schools crap? ... anyhow... if your talking about school pride and relating it to magnet schools, which is what this topic is about, magnet schools, once again in my experience, have trouble finding school pride because they pool from other towns who have a strong hometown pride. but not sure why your hating on magnet schools hope its not a personal thing like you didn't get into one. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  11. As a player which would you rather go to; the public school with poor equipment and poor parent involvement or the Private that has parents who are willing to fork out more money to see their kids play on nice fields. Where I’m from (I don’t know if this is how it is everywhere) the Private schools want for nothing while public schools have trouble just paying for the bare essentials.
  12. CSAS will be losing some good starters next year.
  13. CSAS' 07 class is going to be missed they will be losing a large part of their team. however they should still be good next year they have two upcoming seniors who will do their best to carry on the team.
  14. CSAS and ND tried to work something out but just couldn't get a regular season game together
  15. LOL WOW u still r upset? well ya you'll played well but your right i guess late goals dont count. thats cool. i guess i should stop while im ahead wouldnt want to score a last min. post.
  16. What do u mean by fist fights in the stands? like real hits?
  17. well good point i know CSAS is a public school so maybe you can help me here 1+2=????
  18. CSAS just played Web to a 1-1 tie. Any thoughts on the game or the message that this may send for the two team.
  19. Well, I guess anyone can get to the 18 playing boom ball. Regardless CSAS won and keep their composure. The cheap hit isn't the topic here its how the two teams played. It isn’t like the game was 1-0 it was 3-0 its kind of hard to act like it was a close game. Just my opinion.
  20. u know its odd that I wouldn’t recall well because i was the keeper who got hit. it was a foul right by the books. the team played a football style boom ball the whole game. they played it as well as any team could have but let's call it what it was. CSAS dominated that game.
  21. no i dont care what the situation is there is no reason to put up a 14 goal lead in a game. show some class and love for the game things like that only make ppl wish they hadnt played soccer.
  22. No the left side, the side ameen scored on, had both subs in the mid and D. while both players are now great players they had some trouble marking earlyer in the year. as for the goal being sick it was a 1 on 1 with the keeper not really that sick at all.
  23. as I recall the goal was pulled back for hitting the keeper anyone can score if they kick the ball out of a keeper's hands. the kid was lucky not to have been thrown out.
  24. CSAS has historically not taken place in tournaments. Like I said earlier none of the goals scored were really spectacular goals. Regardless of this years games CSAS has played well for the last 5 years and there are many players who should be looked at.
  25. Chris Penn- CSAS has only allowed 3 goals one off an awful offside call the other two had the whole Defense subbed in with JV player which allowed a brake away. and hes had 1 goal. I mean hes basically the best keeper ever.
