I'm looking forward to this game. My wife used to teach at Bartlett when we lived in Memphis and she now teaches at Wilson Central. I'll be on the court taking pictures, and of course, I'll be rooting for Wilson Central! I hope to get lots of great photos too! Go WILDCATS!!!

Looks like Wilson Central beat Beech 54-46. Will play Smyrna Wed night.

Although I used to live in Memphis, I have to pull for the Vols. Memphis has a heck of a winning streak at home, but I don't think they can beat Tennessee. Too bad I'll be shooting HS basketball tonight, would be a great game to watch. Thank goodness for my PVR, so I can watch after the HS game! I wonder how well I can watch a recorded game and edit pics at the same time???

What caliber team is Rossview this year? I'll be at their game tonight against Wilson Central taking pictures and just curious if it should be another blow out like the women's game against Kenwood or if it will be much closer? Opinions?

Watertown boys beat MJCA Friday night, December 7 by a score of 57 - 43. I didn't see a way to add it to the scoreboard on the main page if someone who has access can update it. EDIT: Never mind, I think I found it.

Great! My wife being a teacher, this makes perfect "sense" of what goes on everyday in the classrooms.

I'm glad I ran across this thread as I was wondering the exact same thing. On a different note, I have several photos available on my site from that game and last week's Wilson Central game.

Any bets on who will take this game during week 0? This is the first meeting between these 2 teams.

LOL! For what it's worth, I use manual for basketball, where the lighting doesn't change. Nice shots, BTW.

Why use manual mode? For fast sports action with changing light makes it difficult to shoot manual. I've been using Av mode mostly, and in the case of a team with white uniforms, I add +2/3 EC to compensate with good results.
