  1. Doug Capella has applied for the job. He applied for the Cleveland job as well. He is chomping at the bit to be a Head Coach. A fine candidate for the Cannon County position.
  2. Besides Dobbs and Shoulders, who are some of the other applicants? I heard around 10 people have applied, but no names...Heard a rumor that a Beech coach applied?
  3. From what I have heard, I think Kyle Shoulders is the best candidate for the job. Some of the people rumored to have applied don't have any Head Coaching experience, and to see what Shoulders has done with the Bulldogs since he has been there is impressive. Winless for 7 years??? He comes in and turns the program around. If he has enough guts to go to that program and change the culture at RBS, Westmoreland would benefit if he gets the job.
  4. Thanks for gracing everyone with your knowledge once again. My predictions: #1- Siegel- Good group of players coming back #2- Oakland- Oakland was, somewhat, down this year. They will not be down two years in a row. #3- Riverdale- Good QB, but losing Davenport and Glover will hurt. #4- LaVergne- They're not at the bottom, no more. Losing the MLB hurts, but they're catching up with the quality of coaching that is in place. #5- Blackman- No I-Train, fewer wins. It's as simple as that. #6- Smyrna- Smyrna's talent level drops off big time, and it will affect the High School for years to come.
  5. He would be an excellent hire. He was part of the 1990 San Jose State team that won the 1990 Big West Conference championship. Then, he was picked up by the Raiders the following year. After retiring from the NFL, he came back to his roots in Tennessee, and has made an impact while coaching in the Middle TN area.
  6. Yes it is. He is the best kept secret in the coaching ranks right now. Rumor has it that he was spotted with his family at the Pizza Hut in Cleveland over the weekend. Odd, cause he doesn't live near Cleveland.
  7. Well if you want to talk about the type of coach Cleveland needs look no further than Doug Capella. This guy will take Cleveland to new heights. His no-nonsense approach to football is what Cleveland needs. His background speaks for itself.
  8. You say "we will strap it up and see what happens." I didn't think you were on the actual team. Good luck to you Friday night then, would like to see you in the open field with Mathers.
  9. After Friday night, Riverdale will be changing "Warrior Drive" to "Mathers Lane". Blackman- 35 Riverdale- 28 In Overtime.
  10. It's good to see Bolddust crawled out of his dumpster near the Beech area. Did Gallatin lay down in the 2nd half when they beat Beech in Week 10???????
  11. I have no idea why we are talking about this game. The real questions are: 1. How will Siegel matchup with Mt. Juliet in the 2nd round? 2. Will Oakland publish another YouTube video of McDaniel giving the greatest speech of all-time?
  12. Easy Milo8100456723229955...Let's not get too worked up over the fact that Blackman will be feared once the playoffs start. Everyone knows Riverdale doesn't want to face Mathers in the playoffs.
  13. This may be the saddest story of all time...It will be a similar scene this year when Riverdale loses in the playoffs.
  14. Typical Riverdale fan...your arrogance is displayed just like all the other Warrior fans; however, I'm not predicting LaVergne to upset Riverdale, by no means...I think LaVergne will give them a competitive game. If I'm not mistaken, LaVergne gave Riverdale a tough first half last year, and then it went downhill from there. Let's not boast on here talking about a mercy rule after the first quarter. Everyone knows that 99% of Riverdale fans think their poop doesn't stink, you don't have to remind us with your arrogant comments.
  15. What happened to Bills? And I thought the Sophomore, Fore, was backup QB.
