There is a dominant single a team, it is Memphis Mitchell. There is more talent on this team than any I have seen in single a in 20 years. They have six kids on the team that are 6'6" or taller. When they are playing together, like last night at Bradford, no team in single a will stay close to them.

The game was not decided by the officials, but it was very poorly officiated and this led to the game becoming very physical, almost out of control of the refs. This in turn led to the fans getting upset, but they have to realize that they are not there to criticize, only cheer on their team. The lady ref does need to find a hobby that she is better at.

If the South Fulton and Dresden game was so bad, just bring your written invitation to the next game and you can ask for a refund. I'm sure which ever team invited you, would gladly repay for upsetting your stomach.

This was a closer game than the final showed. Dresden pulled away at the end by hitting their freethrows. South Fulton is a very scrappy team that plays hard.

This has nothing to do with the public/private debate, but any list without Patrick Willis in the top 10 of the state is a list that should be thrown out. Just ask Phil Fulmer. By the way, he is from Bruceton, a public 1A school.

I understand you questions and agree that it is unfair for some schools to have standards like Milan, but they do have to abide by the county lines. What are the zoning restrictions on any of the private schools, if there are any?

I agree, neither team can play with Milan. The Bulldogs will ease into the finals if they can beat Mitchell this week. It seems that Mitchell is playing well. If they can upset Milan, I see them getting to the finals also. Neither Mckenzie or Lewis Co. has the speed to compete with either of these teams.

Which coach told them not to shake hands, and how do you know he did this? You don't. This all started last year when Fayette could not handle getting beat at Greenfield. At the end of the game they were trying to dive over the line and spear the Greenfield quarterback while he was taking a knee, and then tried to fight after the horn sounded.

This is because there are not any coaches in the public schools in the west bracket that work as hard as the ones at the private schools do.

I don't think anything will happen. The TSSAA will not let a split happen anytime soon, it might lose money. I also think that they are afraid that the private schools might pull out of the TSSAA and start a league of their own.

Scoring a bunch of points against a team that is not near as good would prove a big point. Take it out on the kids who just want to play the game, very good way to show how big you are.

In West Tn, I believe Huntingdon is the best at least on paper, and then probably USJ. The best team in the state that I have seen is Celina. I have not seen Clarkrange or any of the private schools from middle TN.

I agree totally with what you are saying. My only question is how will OC play if the weather conditions are bad, which usually happens sometime in the playoffs.

If Westview is getting better, they sure did not show it against Union City. I think they were the better team but played very poorly, along with Union City playing well. My point is that this is a bad time of year to be playing bad.
