by playing that formation you pretty much lose all attack from the wing which is a huge part. a team that bunkers down on defense has an easier time stopping your attack

so why is brentwood ranked so high on eurosport but so low on mjuhb's ranking..whats the deal with them this year..how do they look?

Cody is alright..not a game changing player. I play him in travel and he really is not a player we would think about worrying about but he is definitely not bad

well they are a team waiting to upset some people but remember brentwood dominated them in preseason but they did beat hendersonville so i do give them some credit

independence wins centennial's coach with sandy pollack is very good but he does not have enough talent within the squad to pull this one out

appreciate the input..all i am saying is that it would be nice to have a 3 man for every game if that was possible b/c it makes for a better called game(personal opinion)

a flat back four is the way to go if you are strong and smart enough in the back to where you mark up and dont let people in behind you and having a fast defense does help with a smary/good goalie to fill in behind on long balls honestly better teams play with a flat back four becasue they are smart and teams without a lot fo experince(such as high school teams) play with a sweeper but having that system is very easy for a smart/fast forward with good ability to break

completely agreed. i do wish that we would all adopt the 3 man system for every game no matter what but i was talking to pat bristol(head ref for WCSA) and he said the reason they do the 2 man is to save money. i can see how that helps but it makes the game be played unfairly which in turn is not worth the money

is bradley jacobs there forward? and how did he win them the game i mean one player cant win a team the game?

having a 3 man system is worlds better then having a 2 man. the line judges can help out with calls as well as make better judgement on offsides i think 2 man system is really not a good way to go..

wow only 3-1..what was the deal, did brentwood look bad or have an off game or what?

4-4-2 is the most common and in high school there are lots of teams that play stopper/sweeper in defense, but im my personal opinion i think every team that has lots of defensive talent should lpay a flat back 4..any thoughts??

well every team playing their rivals have a lot of fan support..especially if they are hendersonville, bearden, farragut, brentwood amongt other teams

well i am a ref as many others are...and you are supposed to let the game go on if some1 has a clear opportunity as many of you are awarer of..so i say that was really stupid even though it doesnt matter... i mean what if its like a state final game and some1 has a break away to tie it up and the ref blows the whistle..well it stinks to hear..
