I nominate Lee Ross. the left winger of Morristown West High School. For the quality of team they had this year they deserve at least one player on that list.

the kid with a high voice on Knox West who can throw it in really far..... He scored a great free kick at Bearden against Morristown West. Outside of the foot curve back post top corner. Nice goal going pro.....definately the jumping side volley over a defender for Arsenal's van persie. Beautiful.

Both teams play such an attractive offensive style of football. I think Sevilla played better though and deserved it. Both of Espanyol's goals were deflections. Palop, sevilla's keeper, is a great player. He truly won the UEFA CUP for Sevilla. In the round of 16 2nd game he scored a header at the end of the game off a corner when Sevilla push everyone up. That goal was necessary to go on through aggregate. HE SAVED 3 PK's!!! He is astounding and I think he is the player of the tournament.

They will definately not beat either Farragut or Bearden.

The refs were absolutely terrible. I guess since Morristown West's season is over, that is all I can say about the game. It is hard to beat a team 3 times. and Boot ball is not soccer. I hate DB's coach...he is so annoying. I guess I am just frustrated. Good luck to all teams that are left.

I agree with Bearden having a terrible warmup cd. Warmup cd's should have fast or pump up music like techno, rock, and rap. The only song that I like on Bearden's warmup cd is that german techno from supertroopers soundtrack. Still that song isn't a warmup song. I think Morristown West's warmup cd is one of the best. It is pretty weird, too, though.

Most the time I think that these weekly rankings are somewhat legit. This week's rankings are a little crazy. Maybe some people or teams will just get mad about these and hopefully channel that anger into winning and prooving these rankings wrong. Anyways, that's what I think everyone should do. Rankings mean nothing. Play your game and win.

What was the final score of the Science Hill versus Christian Brothers game. ANY OTHER SCORES AS WELL PLEASE!

Science Hill lost a lot of seniors and starters last year. I really don't see them being able to match up with Christian Brothers who barely edged out Farragut and are very strong.

Morristown West was trying to get into the tournament at the last moment..... They did not get into the tournament. They have had 4 or more games dropped from there schedule and were looking for games.

does anyone have any information on the upcoming barry redmond cup II (oak ridge tournament) next week and weekend 19-22? Teams in it. Schedules. etc. ???

Who has Science Hill played? Morristown West tied Knox West. Beat Catholic. Prooved themselves this weekend at the Bearden Invitational Tournament.

Saw some really good defenses this week at the Bearden Invitational.

some kid named Tanner can throw it very far. VERY DANGEROUS. he also scored a nice free kick for them against Morristown West. They tied Farragut 2-2 and Morristown West 1-1. and beat Houson 3-2. They have some key players. like #4. (very fast) They aren't very deep though. I think they only have 14 or 15 players on their team. Or that is what I saw at the Bearden Invitational.

Morristown West finished the tournament 2-1-1. They beat Maryville 1-0 and Knox Catholic 1-0. Lost to Gallatin 0-1. And Tied Knox West 1-1. Morristown West tied the game up with a Paul Lynch free kick right after a free kick goal from Knox West both in the first half. Morristown West couldn't find a second goal. The Knox West versus Morristown West game really showed Morristown West's ball control especially after their heartless performance versus Gallatin.

All the teams are very very tired i am sure.....these scores to these games are weird because of the fatique. It hasn't been this hot either in a while. It must be hard for teams like catholic or knox west who don't really have very many players on their team...or very deep teams.

As a wing midfielder and sometimes striker, I agree. The officials are a problem when using flat back 4. I personally love playing against the flat back 4 because of break aways. If you have the speed perhaps or just very good understanding then the flat back four is the best though, because of the defensive wing attacks.
