I am sorry but maybe the polk team should spend as much time on the field practicing as the do on here after a win! If so maybe you would be 1st instead of 2nd!

Well the standings are as this 1. Meigs 9-1 2. Mcminn Central 8-1 3. Polk 10-2 Meigs and Polk still have to play Central!

I totaly agree "Puma" It was like Polk won the state or something after they beat Meigs! But the following night when Meigs defeated Polk not a word was said or a Posting was made about Meigs beating Polk, Seems to me that Meigs is more worried about the game and there opponnets, unike Polk who is on Coacht after everygame! Polk County was all happy and crap when they defeated Meigs and posting on here, but when they got defeated they just want to cry and blame it on the Ump, then coach Clint Baker, and Also Tyler Roberts! That is what I call IMMATURE SORRY LOSERS. The game is over Meigs won nothing can be done about it now so just drop it and worry about Central! And as of Tyler Davis shoving it down Meigs throat..... I never seen it happening, Meigs hit the ball against him! If Tyler Davis is such a Legend Baseball player at Polk why is he only going to Roane State, and Roberts is going to Mephis? My personal opinion I think Tanner Davis is twice as good as his brother in all 3 sports and has a whole lot more class the him! I have heard Polk county players calling people the N word and also calling opposing teams cuss words becasue they were getting beat! He also might want to get his chest checked out as hard as beats on it.

I agree Because they lost 2 Really good D-Backs in Roberts and Maddron ,and they are only returning two Players with experience in Rayl and Howard, Rayl is a freshman if i am n ot mistaken and Howard is going to be a senior who I think has the abilty to play the postion well but does not show it much! Meigs is going to be jsut fine in the up coming year! I have heard about a coaching change but you hear that stuff every year, but what have you heard?

Yea Polk might have the some of the best batting averages but, they have played really nobody and from the scores on the scoreboard it looks like they have just been hitting BP pitching!

So you are more less saying that Central is Going to run all over Sweetwater? Well If I am not mistaken Sweetwater Only lost to Meigs 1-0 in the first game then the next week beat Polk! So u r saying that its going to be a Blow out?

Well I believe that it will be a split beacuse Sweetwater has a pretty good pitcher in their Ace pithcher but thats about it. So I predict sweetwater to win tonight and central tommorrow!

Yes this sounds about Right! Meigs probably could not sleep last night knowing that they were finally going to be able to get there hands on them considerig all the post that have been posted about Polk county being for real this year! I look for the tigers to come out swinging the bats and playing excellent d-fense and Polk to be surprised at the pitching they are going to face!

Well Meigs still has to play Mcminn Central and Sequoyah and a dh with Tyner untill their district games are wrapped up! And if i am not mistaken did Sequoyah not upset them last year?

Well Meigs did lose one of the most Important Players on the field in their QB but if they were to have one step up and fill the shoes I believe without a doubt that they have the talent and ability to do it Again and repeat! The defense is very very strong, The Mobriant kid was a very good player but was not that impressive last year, Meigs lost only 6 seniors and Only 2 may have a strong impact becasue the have the talent to step up and fill the shoes!

Yes I totally agree Polk had the top the batting averages in the paper last week but meigs also had the two best pitchers (Garland and Roberts ) in it also! Meigs has some tough Pitching and is also swinging the bats pretty well! I beleive the winner of the games Is clearly the district champ!

Well Both Teams are playing really good baseball. But I believe taht Meigs may have the upperhand on this huge District game! Meigs has not played since thursday night beating SCHS 11-0, While Polk has played Friday and Saturday. The loss to Mcminn might have brought the Wildcat Spirit down. Meigs on the other hand has probably had 1-2 practices already over the cold weekend so we will have to see. I say! Meigs 6-2 Monday night Meigs 5-2 Tuesday night Look for the cold weather to have effects on the game!
