  1. Does anyone know what the bracket looks like? Any predictions?
  2. I pretty much agree with the above posts. I can't believe franklin didn't get anything last year, but i doubt that will be the case this time around. I think that Mccallie's goalie Patton Watkins should be considered for something. I know i'm a bit biased, but i mean it when i say he's the best goalie i've ever played against, and pretty much anything outside of 12 yards is a save. His outlets are also sick. I think any MUS player would agree with me after his 16 save performance in our first game last year.
  3. Not to take anything away from the MBA guy, he's pretty good, but i think the mccallie and mus goalies are a cut above him.
  4. first off, i'd like to say that i completely understand where you're coming from with the playing for fun thing. Sure, lacrosse is an extremely enjoyable sport, but when a team gets beaten by more than 10 goals... not so much. trust me, the only thing that comes from losing badly is the game deteriorating into meathead lacrosse. it is exactly that sort of situation that leads to injuries and teams getting worse. What i would suggest is that brentwood plays MBA or Mccallie, rather than USN, Webb, or Farragut. no offense to those teams, but they are nowhere near the top of D1. I'm just afraid that the players at brentwood that are used to winning and having success will have difficulty coping with the reality that they might be inferior.
  5. no chance /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  6. i'm afraid you're being a WEE bit premature on this issue. Baylor has neither the talent or the athletes, yet, to contend with any of the division one schools. the only player on the team that could have an impact in d-1 is the goalie.
  7. especially when that crowd starts cheering for him. That joka may aswell have rabies.
  8. well, last year in the playoffs will destroyed the cbhs kid. I don't think he won more than three.
  9. Based on what i know: 1) MUS 2) Mccallie/ MBA 3) Christian Brothers MUS for sure has the best athletes and most experience, it would appear as if it's just a matter of them showing up. Mccallie and MBA are pretty interesting. Both teams have graduated some key players, but they also have amazing talent in the 10th and 11th grades. Both of their JV teams decimated opponents last year. it would seem as if they simply need to develop some of those talented younger guys into contributers. that's the only way that i can see either team beating MUS. As for CBHS, i haven't really seen for myself the kind of skill it takes to take out the other teams. the only time i've really seen them play was last year in the playoffs against mccallie. in that game, both their faceoff guy and attackman were completely neutralized. if those are their best two strengths, then in my opinion it won't be enough.
  10. i agree, what a crazy game. i played in it for mccallie. what i don't agree with is your arrogance. i have a fairly good idea who you are and i know that you aren't like that. there is no reason to call baylor's stadium a river rat house
  11. clearly this is that vihlen guy, BTW this kid will bible completely made a fool of him at summer camp.
  12. not really, he still has an opportunity to play college ball, and that's certainly more than i can say for many people. i would also like to add that i'm proud to see so many TN lacrosse players that are taking their game to the next level. it bodes well for the future
  13. you don't understand. chase is from north carolina, and has known Coach Pressler for several years. he was still offered to go to Duke, but instead remained loyal to his coach. it really stinks that that rape thing turned out to be faked. that ruined his whole future. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  14. don't get me wrong, i think that the MBA Goalie and that Cahill are exceptional players, but having seen hayes and blair play in person(which some people have not), i would still have to say that those two are on another level altogether
