  1. Heard he had the key save in PK's vs. Clarksville in Regions. I've seen him in a few games this year. He's very quick and has solid coordination in judging the ball.
  2. Station Camp 4-2 over East Ridge. Congrats to SC!
  3. This match will be a great display of soccer. Hendersonville has such a brutal schedule and considering all things has come out of it in fairly good shape, several ties and the losses were an average of a one goal loss. Farragut has played a hard schedule as well with a better record. Both defenses are solid giving less than one goal per game on average. It will come down to finishing. The game could clearly go either way with no advantage to either team. I'll go with Hendersonville 2-1 in OT.
  4. (oops, posted this in the wrong thread last time) AAA State bracket first rounds are mainly uneventful with the exception of Hendersonville/Farragut. All other games will get no ink as they will most likely be very predictable (I'll leave it to your own opinion as to who wins). The Hendersonville/Farragut game is really the only one worth talking about. These two met earlier in the year and finished in a 0-0 tie. Hendersonville seems to have to hardest schedule but Farragut a better record so this will be a fantastic match.
  5. District 9 AAA Finals Hendersonville 1 Lavergne 0 2OT
  6. District 9AAA Semifinals Lavergne 2 Wilson Central 1 2OT Hendersonville 7 Gallatin 1 Finals Friday Night Lavergne vs. Hendersonville
  7. District 9 AAA Quarterfinals Lavergne 2 Smyrna 0
  8. Where or how do you access the District Tournament Information. Where games are played, times, brackets, seeding?
  9. I would have to agree with 11AAA this year.
  10. This one will be tight all the way through. I'd give the edge to Hendersonville only because they're playing at home and they normally draw good support. I'll go with Hendersonville 2-1 late.
  11. I'd have to go with Hendersonville. They play several top teams across all divisions: Bearden, Farragut, MUS, CAK, Knox Catholic, Father Ryan, Brentwood, Lavergne, CBHS. Combined W/L of these teams alone is 74-14.
  12. I think the match is set up to favor Ravenwood but you can never count out Brentwood. Any thoughts? I'll go with Ravenwood 2-1
  13. I would agree. Eurosports shows that the combined W/L record of the teams Ravenwood has played is 42-47. Page is the only team with a winning record that they've played this year. Time will tell on Ravenwood. Their remaining 6 games are against teams with winning records (all but 1). The Brentwood and Independence games will tell the tale. I've not seen them play but hear they have a good D and they've quietly just played soccer it seems.
  14. Father Ryan 3 Gallatin 1 Brentwood 4 Collierville 1 Hendersonville 1 Knox Catholic 1
  15. I will predict a rain out. When the game is actually played, Farragut wins 3-1.
  16. Hendersonville Tournament kicks off tonight: Gallatin v Father Ryan (4PM) Brentwood v Collierville (6PM) Hendersonville v Knox Catholic (8PM)
  17. Hendersonville 0 Farragut 0 Looked like Hendersonville played a bit better and had more opportunities but both teams looked pretty even strength-wise.
  18. Hendersonville 1 Bearden 1 I was able to catch this game and the field was a mess but seemed in better shape than last year. It had standing puddles throughout which made it difficult for runs, ball would simply stop in water. I thought both teams looked good under these conditions but would have to give the edge to Hendersonville. They seem to be on the offensive more than not with more shots on goal. Although, Bearden's goal came in the first few minutes of the second half and made it look easy. I thought they were going to turn it on but the Hendersonville defense stepped it up all game. A lot of sliding, pushing and pulling but all in all a decent game to see, with the exception of the rain. I suspect Hendersonville has had injuries this year based on their record coming in but they looked pretty good. Bearden lived up to their record and played a tough game as well.
  19. From there website. Should be a tremendous amount of talent to watch. 20. Tough to do because it would essentially list all teams about 4 to 5 deep in their divisions. I would add these teams to the watch list: 11) Riverdale 12) Goodpasture 13) Centennial 14) White House Heritage 15) Smyrna 16) BGA 17) Mt Juliet 18) Portland 19) Franklin 20) Rossview Each will compete to some degree and a few may surprise some people. I've heard a lot of talk about Brentwood and how they'll be "down" this year. I still think their D will be tough and will keep them in most games. I've not heard much about Riverdale this year yet but they finished well last year and unless they lost a host of seniors they could also be in the thick in AAA.
  21. Ok, Mid Tenn Soccer followers. Here's the pre-season Top 10 for the area as I see it. 1) Hendersonville 2) Father Ryan 3) Independence 4) Pope John Paul II 5) Brentwood 6) Station Camp 7) Ravenwood 8) Blackman 9) MBA 10) Lavergne Thoughts? Who have i missed?
  22. I heard that the Hendersonville / MBA scrimmage was rescheduled for tonight instead of tomorrow night. Anyone know a score?
  23. I wouldn't necessarily use the term "dominating." I think historically Hendersonville plays a fairly tough schedule so they may struggle through the season. They always seem to get things together for the Disticts, though, and if they dominate, that is where it will begin. I would agree they have a good shot at state this year but they may have to get through Independence in order to do that. Both teams should be stacked pretty well. Brentwood, although they've lost a ton of talent, will still be a force and I wouldn't rule out a pretty decent Lavergne team either. If Hendersonville can stay healthy, they have the horses to win state but as we you saw last year....sometimes the better team doesn't always win.
