Most definitely Pujo, we are going to have to bring our A+ game to come out with a second win over the Longhorns. These guys better have some fire or it will be a long night. Having said that, if they cut down on turnovers and penalties, it can be done.

Guys this thread should not have even been posted. We have an enormous amount of things to prove until that could happen. Most importantly, we would have to prove we can compete and win against the Trousdales, South Pitts, etc. down state. We have just started with the first footstep of that journey. I love Hampton as much as anyone, but I think as a whole, we have a lot to prove still. In my opinion, we can, if we take it one step at a time. Also, Trousdale is still #1 until they lose in the playoffs this year, IF they lose. There are a lot of teams that could win it all on this side. The only thing we can do is take it one game at a time, do our best and see what happens. Go Dogs!!

Do you guys have any comments or observations of the Cloudland Jamboree tonight?

From what I understand, things are looking pretty good. Returning all linemen back and filling in some skill positions. If we can step up on our defense, we should be pretty solid. Coach will definitely bring out the best in these boys and hopefully another conference title, but its one step at a time, and one game at a time.

Ok men, it starts tommorrow. Lets bring it togethter this year and play as a team, not individuals. If someone messes up, support them and insist thay they to do better. This could be a special year for you guys. I hope you all really understand what you have as a team and what you can accomplish together. Put in the work that needs puttin in. Push yourself as well as your teammates. Never give up and always look to get better. Never become complacecent or happy with the status quo. Strive to get better and better as each day and game goes by. Listen to your coaches and respect each other as well as your opponent. Represent Hampton with pride and with commitment and integrity. Hey guys, Just got back from Greenback and I can tell you this, They are an incredible team. The quaterback is small, but this cat can flat out play. They all play hard, every play , every second. Also, they are incredibly fast. The dogs will have to bring their A game on this one. I hope we have a good week of practice, and I hope we can upset the Greeback Kees.

I don't think alot of fans are counting on the dogs to end the year with success, but from what I have seen at practice, its business as usual. They are focused on HV and no one else. I can't say that the Cosby loss is far from everybodys thoughts but I can say that hopefully it will make these guys work harder. Sometimes you don't win when your supposed to, thats that. Take the loss, learn from it and get better. All in all I think from losing just about every starter, we have had a decent year. Theres plenty of games that we lost that we could have won, but that is also a part of building back up what we have had. All I can say is I still bleed blue and that will never change. And guys from Cosby, you guys won cause you wanted it more, bottom line. No excuses here. Good luck you guys throughout and hopefully we may meet again.

All I'm saying if they play like they can, they can win, if they lay down, you better believe they will lose and I'll eat crow. All I'm saying is I would be danged if I would let anybody come to our house and take what is ours. Cosby took it to us in that last half and if that don't get you fired up and ready for the last few games, I don't know what would. But trust me, I can admit if I'm wrong, and I'll be man enough to say it too.

Cosby did deserve the win, in the second half it looked totally different. If the dogs had played ball in the second half, they would have won. Lots of mistakes and looked like lots of lost heart. It hurts me to say that, but it looked true to me. If they dont get that desire , they wont win another game. I can tell you, nothing will be bigger than Cloudland at home. We cant look past HV, but this is gonna be a killer game......

I'm very cautious on this game. It could go either way. I do know for one it is gonna take 2 halfs of football to come out of this one with a win. This weeks practice should tell if we will be ready or not. Hopefully we will, but you never know.....Happy Valley has been very strong in some games this year. Kinda hot and cold, sounds like us in alot of ways. They seem to be pointed in the right direction so the dogs had better be ready.
