I'm coming over from Campbell County to the game Friday night. We are a good team, but this game scares me a little. I think Jefferson County is faster than us, especially with that tandem of Brooks and McFall. Both were 1,000 yd rushers last year. I don't know if the Camp Co Defense can contain them. I'm hoping we can hang with this fast Patriot team.

Jeff co. by 2 touchdowns. Greenville struggled against the option in their scrimmage. Jeff runs it well with a big full back and a athletic QB. Good luck to both teams

CC hasnt had a scrimage all year, they didnt even have one in the spring. this was the first time they played somone in pads since the lost to WB last year in the playoffs.

I argee with you Cap1 CC and TN High, both was looking to get better switching in their players and running different formation and plays. I believe TN High could have ran all over greenville but they decided to work on their boot legs and passing game. TN, and CC deffense's were both better than Greenvilles, CC could have ran inside veer on greenville all night, but again They were trying to work on different stuff. The first series greenville came out there like they were all big and bad, Then CC's qb had like a 50 yard run(guessing). Overall TN and CC were looking to get better, Greenville just tried to make theirselves look good. this is just my opinion. Good luck to all teams this year.

how can you say CC was the weakiest team there? Their qb busted out a 60 or 70 yard run the first run against greenville. they drove the ball all night against greenvilles D. CC scored on a pass from about the 10 or 15 yard line. CC stuffed greenville every play except one long pass play where greenway just slung the ball to the reciever who caught the ball with one foot in bounds. After that green way scored shortly from the 5 on their last play. TN High didnt score a TD in the whole scrimage.. Their d looked good. offense needs a little work. they have some good backs. This is my opinion, but CC looked just as strong as greenville, Maybe a little better on D

see the thing you guys dont know is that the front seven starters were gone from the 04 season on deffense, the 04 Team was a Sr team. the 07 team was a JR Team. now they are Srs and i promise you they are hungry as ever

spotty refs and all? does it make you feel better to say that?? Ididnt say one year defines a program. but CC has all the players that beat jeff last year comming back. and they will show you that last year was not just a fluke like all you jeff county people think.

i agree DB should be a top finisher this year, i just think people think bearden is going to be good this year just because of what they had last year. i'm not saying they are going to be awful but, they will be fairly young and very inexperienced. People should give CC and Seveir some more respect then what they do. i do believe with you bearden and sevier will beat SH. I also think CC will beat them.

this is crazy 90% of everyone who has picked, is picking on how the teams finished last year, with the exectption of CC. Bearden lost 27 Sr's. period. how can you pick somone 2nd in the region wit NO ONE coming back. SH has athletes but they never use them in the right ways, they lost the trent kid and their running back. I dont understand why people pick a region on the standings from the past. i think Sevier county will beat both bearden and SH next year easy. CC beat SH last year and Played one of the best teams bearden has ever had tough. it was like 12-13 at the half. CC returns 8/11 on off. and 9/11 on def...... now how could you say the CC will finish last and bearden will finish 2nd??..... All i'm saying is sevier co. and campbell co. will raise some heads this year just watch and see, and if you make a prediction dont make it on who finished where last year... Thank you for your time... I hope all these teams kick 2-5a's butt in the playoff's

should be an interesting year in this region this year. Bearden lost tons of starters, Science Hill is a diffrent team every year, you can never tell how good they will be till the season rolls around. DB is always te team to beat. sevier County lost its qb, rb, and best LB in the region, Jeff county lost the yeary kid, but i look for them to be strong this year, Campbell Co finished third in the region last year and returns 8/11 on offense, and 9/11 on deffense. Karns was a young team last year but lost some key players... my prediction is 1. Kingsport DB 2. Jeff County 2. Campbell Co 3. Sevier Co 4. Bearden 5. Science Hill 6. Karns I cant decide between Jeff and CC for the 2nd spot, CC beat Jeff last year in double ot i think, and they both return so many. Good luck to all teams this year!

they lost like 20+ Sr's didnt they? There is no way they will be as strong this year. I'm kinda tired of hearing about this little running back, when he hasn't even gained a yard in Varsity football. IF he is only 5'7 150? he will get crushed in 5a ball. In my book the guy from DB is alot better, I played against him last year and he will be a stud. I guess I'll see how good the little guy is going to be when we play Bearden but until then i dont care bout him

CC does have fans, they just dont like getting on the boards.... IDK what to say i know this is the secound playoff game in school history so i say the guys are going to be pumped up their going to have to play their A game in this one. They do one thing realy good though they play as a team and that has carried us this far. The team is lead by Jr.s who played alot of these guys in 8th grade... the got beat 45-7 or something but whoo cares.... they know that this WB teamis good and have alot of respect for them

The kick was in warm ups the team goes down to where the returner catches the ball it could have been on our side line too, i can promise you it was not ment to be on DB side line.. and yeah it was a DB fan who was talking to coach wells, the side ref ask coach wells if he wanted a escort and he said no but they brought a officer over there to make sure nothing got out of hand. like i said we have the yup most respect for DB and would never stomp on there "ground". Ok, the team did not mean to be over on the DB side line.. where ever the ball is kicked the team goes, it happened to go to that side, and the crap everyone is saying about the coaching staff is non sence, the ref brought a police officer over there because i DB fan was threating the coaching staff.. Coach Wells has the up most resecpt for DB and the staff, maybe becuase they are the only team that dont look over us! But i think DB just has to much talent for us.. We could match up with them in the skill positions but not up front.. I hate to see people talk bad about this campbell county team, they play there hearts out every game! and i thats how they are taught to play. and the players that are playing.. thoses are the best they have in the school.. i just hope we can re-group and get a win against karns and get in the PLAYOFFS! GO COUGARS and good luck to Db in the playoffs

Do not count the cougars out just yet! The way we played against Bearden was pretty impressive... the problem is we dont play like that every week! If we beat SH and Karns we get the tie breakers because we beat Jeff... CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS TURNS OUT!

ok thats a little out of hand. CC was out ready to play and Jeff. wasn't plain as that. Jeff Co. has no special teams what so ever. They play hard and i thought it was a good game.. To blaim it on the refs??? i woulnd't go do that the QB Wells was in the endzone by a yard and put the ball down and the Yeary kid picked it up and acted like it was a fumble. should be a good game... the game might be the fastest game in cc's History, with jeff running the veer and CC running their offense.. I dont know what to expect? the game at powell was not even close to a beating though it was 7-0 at the begging of the 3rd Qr. if CC would have scored on the first drive it would have been a diffrent game. Nothing against powell they picked us apart...... I think that whoevers Deffense does better this week will be the winner.

should be an interesting game. I watched the cougars fri. and saw some of the powell players their, i realy think that CCHS can get an upset here. They were rolling with the run game fri. Their Offense looked terrible, the only good play they had was a pass to their tightend who is slow as smoke. They tied with a 1-a team..... Not looking good considering they open up with a 5-a team
