  1. Does anyone know if there are listings somewhere of all the players that made all city this year
  2. As for Hunter's Lane Quinton RObinson Line.... Great Tackles, disrupting plays Jerron Guthrie...Fast speed, great tackles Terry Ezell... power fullback/middle linebacker.... great power, strength, runs like a tank... great tackles
  3. The Tennessean article about Hendersonville and their forfeits say that this rule doesnt hurt anybody but the team that had to forfeit their game.... How is this... Gallatin and Hunters Lane are being hurt by this rule. How is it that a team that had to give up two games, according to ratings is a game behind in the region, but is still allowed to be ranked #1 in the region? I dont think this is fair, especially since the two teams that HVille had to forfeit the games on are still counted as losses. ... not even non-games How is this right or fair?
  4. Is this for real??? I love coming onto CoachT. I have learned alot and also have had great arguments with many on here. But I think all this is a little overboard... But, Have fun. Thats what Coach T is all about.
  5. Any news on how this young man is doing?
  6. I cant believe that this thread hasn't been started yet.... here it is Wednesday and hardly nothing said about the Hunters Lane vs Hendersonville Game. I think these two teams both have something to prove. Hendersonville to prove that the win against Gallatin wasnt a fluke and Hunters Lane that despite the loss to Gallatin they are still the number one school in 5-5A. Both teams better come ready to play. Hunters Lane has Senior Night and I hope that it doesnt prove to be a distraction. My son is a Senior this year and I know that this will be a very emotional game for alot of the seniors. I am looking forward to a great game with lots of hard hitting smash mouth football. Thursday Night...... Go Get Em Warriors
  7. all I can say is " there but for the grace of God go I" Please know that he will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us informed on how he is doing.
  8. Good point... but it is a curious question.
  9. Okay maybe someone can explain something to me. A forfeit is considered a non-game Right? so lets look at 5-5A Gallatin is 6-1 Hunters Lane is 6-1 Hendersonville is 6-0 how can we be ranked at a fair level when it looks like hendersonville played one less game then everyone else. How is that fair to Gallatin and Hunters Lane. I am not trying to take anything away from the Hendersonville players and no disrespect is meant, I just don't understand how it works could someone please explain rationally how this works
  10. I say Ezell from Hunters Lane. His Stats dont reflect his play on the field. He is a power full back that is hard to bring down and also plays middle linebacker. He is a powerful player who gives everything to his team. Region 5-5a
  11. All I was saying is there have been some really really badly called games in Gallatin. I have to say that in 2006 alot of that game hinged on bad calls and no calls.. But, that is in the past. I was proud to be at the game on Friday and it was one heck of a game. no offense intended..
  12. The game last night was exactly what I thought it would be... tough smash mouth football. My hats off to Gallatin for the win. Gallatin played hard football and so did the Lane. It was the fairest called game by the referees in several years coming to Gallatin to play. It was a devestating loss for Hunters Lane, but rest assured we are not down and out by any means. Gallatin will see us agein in the playoffs. I hope that the Hunter's Lane team realizes that what you do in practice shows on the game field. I am not going to go into detail but some HLHS players know exactly what I am talking about. Gallatin has the best fan support out of any team we play, but I have to wonder about the fans that come to the visitor's side and start talking serious trash during the game. Some of the things that were said were uncalled for and obnoxious. It is not true for all fans, but what I saw last night was just pitiful. For those of you at the game, I just wanted to let everyone know that Ezell is okay and he rode home with the team. He will be back at practice on Monday and ready to play Friday. It was a very emotional game and I once again congratulate Gallatin on the victory. But watch out you will see us again.
  13. Do you know what I like best about this forum..... all the trash talk and then when the game is over we all go back to being friends.... I am soooo looking forward to tomorrow nights game. I think it is going to be real intense and a great great game. Hunters Lane and Gallatin have always played real tough football and have usually made for a great night spent. Who ever wins, I hope that no one gets hurt, the game is called fairly and at the end of the game, they meet in the middle, shake hands and look forward to next year. Warriors Rule....
  14. Ya know, those are some mighty big words for such a little person. Hunters Lane has integrity and heart and that is what it takes to win. This is going to be a big game without all the stupid hype and mud slingin. You dont need to talk about the school unless you have a good reason to back it up. The game is going to be very intense and as long as there are fair calls on the field it is going to be good old fashioned smash mouth football. I have had one son graduate already from the lane and one that is going to graduate this year... what past teams have done, you cant judge another. Come to the game and watch and may the best team win.... Of course its Hunters lane.
