Does the college team you play for ever practice? It appears to me you are posting when most college teams are in camp.

Relax. I have no idea who your son is. I was just making a general statement regarding Freshman phenom's. Most are in the catagory I described. Some truly are special. If he is the later, you should be proud.

It is a good point. Age at the H.S. level can be so varied...which is the reason colleges ask the age. I know of seniors who are 17, and some who are 20...recently! He may qualify, but how talented is a 19 yr old playing against 17 yr olds in terms of tallent?

I think any one of the teams mentioned-(Farragut, Bearden, Smyrna, Independance, Millington, WB...etc.) could have beaten each other on the right night at the right time of the season. It is what makes it a great sport and great game....not just in 07-5A playoffs. Smyrna proved this by peaking at the right time against all very good football teams.

Not that it matters at this point, but it looks the same slowed down as it did in the game. The question was never the left foot, which was out of bounds, the previous step(right foot) ,where the ball was caught was clearly in bounds. Im also curruious why the announcer called it that way too? There is audio on the footage.

This shot was taken after the right foot had already comedown inbounds. Notice where he is looking. Unless he caught the ball with the eyes in the back of his head...this is not the right photo to judge the call.

Congrats to all of Region 1. Margin of victory by Bearden over Region 2 playoff teams (including the loss to Farrigut) was five points more than Region 1 playoff teams.

So where do you think Andre ranks as of now all time, and why do you think he is pretty underrated for a running back of his caliber? Thats what I was replying to.

Settle down. I love watching him play and think he is incredibly talented. The question is why he is not getting the attention from wherever. You can't run by opposing sidelines shaking your head and face in front of the people who watching his ability to play at the next level.....without the opposing team doing anything to provoke it. He is the the best running back being the least recruited.....no accident.

So he is the only one to hear these things? Thats why he acts this way? Rogan didn't.

He is the best HS running back I have ever seen, but Rogan did not display the T.O. attitude on the field like Sterling does. I wonder if anyone has told Andre it takes away from the abilities because programs don't want to deal with it.

1/4 of the players (11 out of 45) are from five schools? Only one school happens to still be in the playoffs? Was there a fee to be paid no one else know about?

It is obviously a good program going in the right direction. You don't get the kind of respect earned this year towards the program and the team if the majority of competition didn't believe it.

Games of this level are rarely determined by atheltic ability, the "better" is more about judgement, trust, execution, coaching, and ....judgement.
