We got a group that was embarrased by their performance last week. I expect the focus and effort to be a little better tomorrow, especially on the defensive side of the ball. From the impression I'm getting, might be in a rather p.o.'d mood come kickoff time. Just sayin'......

TCC looked pretty good in the scrimmage earlier this year at S.East. Good looking,athletic bunch. They play our game and may present some matchup problems. Good lookin athletes on this team. And as we all know this is a game of matchups.Think we'll take this one but it Depending on which Lander team shows up this week. We show up focused and ready, we win big. We let alot of this homecoming hoopla become a distraction and we may be in for a ballgame.Hey Nole,not sure but i think Mason's gonna try to come up and hang with you n' Henry and company while youse fellas tailgate for a few min. before headin to the locker room.

Depends on if Marlowe is back or not. He's the playmaker for H.V. If not it's probably a 50/50 game. If he is, I like H.V.'s chances a lot better. Hope L.J's ok. Didn't know anything about it til I read it in the star today.

Landers will keep it rollin' this week. I told mine this is Unaka's superbowl. They beat us and their season is suddenly awesome. This bunch is smart though and know each week is an opportunity to get better. Several have told me that they understand it's a process in which you want to keep improving every play. Not worried about record or playoff seeding or anything except being a better team the next play. As I said earlier, they got a fire in their belly's! Like fightin for your brother. More family than team really. Might not be the biggest or strongest or fastest but you gotta love their pure effort every play. Fun group to watch. Bluengoldblood runnin through their veins!

Nobody out far as I know, We just played a complete game. Dominated the line of scrimmage from the opening minute till the final whistle. We get off the ball quick. Very determined bunch. Gotta fire in their bellys.

Thanks we will. Yea, even when you have the better team it can be challenging at the nest for sure. All we can do is give it our best effort and what will be will be. Tell L.J. we'll be pullin for you'uns til week 10.

If we keep improving every week( and that's every team's goal) and stay healthy of course, we'll be a pretty good ball team each friday night when we snap those chin straps. Probably should strap yours on good too, cause this bunch likes to bring the wood. Don't think we're worried about 10-0, We just want to be 3-0 after tomorrow. Two days!

Have no doubt you guys will get it straitened out. Don't let the fair weather fans get ya goat! You know as well as I do that some people LIVE/LOVE to cause hate and discontent. As long as the Kids stick together(and up for each other) the dogs will be fine. Alot of idgits seem to forget it's all about the kids and how they fight for each other. Have a feeling that the dogs will be just fine. Love you guys(til week 10 that is!)

Gotta think the Landers keep rollin' in this game. The good thing about this team is they take it one game at a time, so I don't see 'em coming out flat against the Eagles. You never know with teenagers though. What does everyone else think? Where you at Old Eagle? Need some insight on this years Eagles' team!

One of the best games I've seen in a while. Very well played game on both sides. Only one penalty the ENTIRE game.(5 yd illegal procedure H.V.) Both teams deserved to win. Congrats to my Landers and all the best to Happy Valley. Both teams left it all on the field. This is the type of game you hate to see somebody come out on the losing end because both teams gave a winning effort. Too many playmakers on BOTH sides to even attempt to start trying to name. Gotta get ready for them Cawsby Eagles now!

Got our hands full next week. Keeping the Jackson kid contained will definatly be a tall task. Mr. everything for sure. Runs it, throws it, and kicks it, and does it all very well. They have a quick D that gets to the ball in a hurry also. Got some good athletes. Course we do to

And if you were in TN., You wouldn't be conf. champs down here very much either. Eliz., Sull. North are the ones you'd be worrin about. Comparing Avery to Cloudland and Hampton is apples to oranges. Schedule the cyclones a year or two and then do some comparing.

Sr. leaders aren't doing much leading IMHO.(the right kinda leading anywho) We all know we are still a year away because of this one very LARGE reason. Either lead the right way or get out of the way. No room for thugs or the thug mentality on a conferance champ. team. We are the ones that need to stay healthy bro. Little different when you have 40 vs 24 kids to pull your depth from. If the best 11 from each team square off............ should be a fun one for us old timers to watch.
