what teams are in Pigeon Forge's district and region?

the MARSH PIT is the best student section in the state. Were so good the players on the bench cheer with us. We do our background checks get in players heads. We had Tony Cooper from Fulton so shook up that he couldnt play. In the region championship, an hour away, we had at least 60 students which is good for a school of 400. And to top it all off, we even got mentioned in the paper about how we drowned out all other sound in the GYM!!!!!!! MARSH PIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gah why cant Pigeon Forge have a gym worth something? now we have to travel all the way to BFE, thanx a lot you cheap hillbillies

im going way back for this one, Glenn Myers from Townsend, Class of 65. Glenn single handily took Townsend from a non-respected team to a very competitive squad. His senior year he was All-County, All-District, All-Regioon, and the Blount County Player of the Year. I wish I would have got to see him play, becasue numerous people have told me how dominant he was. Thelma "Strut" Tipton played girls basketball at Townsend in the 50's and revolutionized womens basketball in Blount County. People say she transformed the game like Cait Macmahan is doing today. She was also All-County, All-District, All-Regioon, and the Blount County Player of the Year. I had to show some love for my family, Glenn my father and Thelma my great aunt, to get them in on this amazing list of players from Blount County. There are so many good ones that this topic could go on for days.

everybody says how OS D Line will dominate, well alcoa just run the draw and screen all night, and when OS decides to stop pressuring then the game is over because alcoa will be able to run their whole offense alcoa-42 Os-28

the only way OS has a chance is if one of the big three get hurt for alcoa. if you wandering who they are its brandon warren, joei fiegler, and dustin lindsey. alcoa has WAY TO MANY WEAPONS ON OFFENSE. OS doesnt have the athletes to cover alcoa, just ask sweetwater about alcoa's offense. OS cant come from behind running the ball out of the wing T. Alcoa-42 OS-28 merged

alcoa has to many weapons on offense, and oliver springs doesnt have the speed to run with any of them. if you want to stop fiegler, warren, hill, fuller, and company then dustin will just run for 200. same thing if you want to stop dustin, then fiegler will torch you for 275. alcoa has to much!!!!! alcoa 35 OS 24

tonite at alcoa, cumberland gap showed no class at all. they had personal fould after personal foul, and many that went unnoticed by the refs. to top it all of number 72 for cumberland kicked alcoa tailback dustin lindsey in the head while dustin was on the ground. he deliberatley came up to a defense less lindsey and kicked his head like a field goal. the kid should never be alound to suit up in any sport ever again. that could have ended dustins season and even career. after the game players from cumberland players had to be restrained because they were still wanting to fight the alcoa guys, even the coach, who is suppost to be the one controlling his kids, tried to pick a fight with the alcoa people. ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH CUMBERLAND GAP HIGH SCHOOL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THE BEHAVIOR OF THEIR KIDS.

ok first off its alcoa hands down. maryville may have all these kids or whatever, but are they getting any playing time???? if so its not anough to make a difference, maybe 2 or 3 are playing a lot. more than majority of alcoa's team is freshmen and sophmores. if you want to get technical its a JV team that went 7-3, second in their region, and currently on a 6 game win streak. find me another JV team that can do that and i will never say another word about or classes. P.S. when these kids from maryville and alcoa were in middle school, alcoa never lost to maryville.

now lets get one thing straight, maryville has got lucky a lot over their run. i guess all those trick plays are skill???? no i dont think so, they are lucky. last year when maryville tackled the helton kid from central by the towel, i guess that was skill to. im not hating, im just saying you have got lucky A LOT, i know you dont see it being a maryville fan, but if you go back and watch the games you will see what im talking about. dont get me wrong i hope maryville goes back to state and wins again, but their luck is about to run out.

yall are stupid just counting alcoa out and saying oliver springs is the best 2a team. alcoa had just come off playing 2 5a teams, and the best 4a team in the state, maryville. alcoa played their worst game of the year against oliver springs and oliver springs struggled to win. alcoa is a completely different football team then they were early in the season against oliver springs. WHEN OS AND ALCOA PLAY IN THE PLAYOFFS, ALL THE OS PEOPLE WILL BE SCRATCHING THEIR HEADS WONDERING WHY THEIR TEAM JUST GOT KILLED BY A REJUVIANTED ALCOA TEAM!!!!! im warning you now about alcoa, when you watch films from games later in the year it will seem like your watching two different teams, and im done holla at yall in the playoffs!!!!!

NOTE TO ALL MARYVILLE FANS: Yea I know Maryville has won 30 something straight games, but you better enjoy it while you have it. Maryville has got lucky so many times its unreal. Take a look at ohio state and notre dame, they lucked up all last year and now this year their luck ran out. Enjoy it while you have it because your luck is going to run out quicker then you think, most likely in the playoffs against Central!!!!!!

ALCOA HIGH SCHOOL HAS THE BEST GROUP OF FRESHMEN VARSITY STARTERS. GRAHAM MYERS, JACOB SHMABLIN, MARTIN WHITE, AND DUSTIN LINDSEY. AS OF RIGHT NOW MYERS AND SHAMBLIN ARE 2 AND 3 IN THE ROTATION AND BOTH START IN THE OUTFILED WHEN NOT PITCHING. MARTIN WHITE PLAYS FIRST BASE AND DH'S AND IS HITTING IN THE 5TH OR 6TH SPOT. DUSTIN LINDSEY ALSO STARTS IN THE OUTFIELD FOR THE TORNADOES. ESPECT A LOT FROM THIS GROUP OF YOUNGSTERS, AND THEY ARE THE BEST FRESHMEN CLASS AROUND!!!!!!!

Wartburg has one athlete that can beat you on offense, the QB. A couple years ago he put up 600 yeards of offense on Alcoa, but they lost a lot to a little. He is still the only athlete they have and I know 11 hungry silver bullets that are ready to make friday night miserable for Wartburgs QB. Alcoa-28 Wartburg-7

wtach out in the next couple years. there are three lefty's in blount county that are just dominating. they are all three 14. two are at alcoa and one is at heritage. the two at alcoa are both throwing in the mid 70's and one of them has the nastiest curve i've ever seen. the kid at heritage is throwing in the low 80's and has a big variety of pitches. you may think they are just young now but when they get juniors and seniors they will be unhittable!
