  1. how far back is a few years? Dustin Lendsay? Chris Shiverdecker? too far back? some people wont believe me but Chris shiverdeckers highschool highlight film was more impressive than reggie bushs highlight film. I promise
  2. ......in my head right now i can just visualize Milan and Goodpasture head coaches sitting in their lockerooms, exhausted from summer workouts, and in the background a picture of Gary Rankin , with a large red cirlce with a line through it, and off in the distance u can vaguely make out the lyrics to " dont stop believin" by Journey................. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  3. I would pay to see anybody in the nation " bully" 6'4 280lb Marcel Walden. This kid has got what it takes, good character skill and def big enough for D1. I would watch your little dog barkin out of its little cage.
  4. Im not gonna get into depth on why i think this because i have many reasons but i can say i honestly believe that the 2nd best team in 2A last year was a toss up between Marion Co. and CAK. Call me crazy, but thats what i believe
  5. I was just throwin in Ryans name to see if i can get the " Alcoa recruits" people to start coming out of the woodworks early /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> This years team will be very impressive and in my opinion could be one of the best senior classes weve had all around since Warrens class graduated. My senior class is loaded with talent and leadership. Should be an interesting season
  6. Playmakers for this season, and ones workin hard down in the trenches. Tyler Robinson Jaron Toney Nathaniel Robinson Marcel Walden Darryl Warren Taharin Tyson Darwin Kerr Justin Marsh Austin Tallant Ryan Stoutt Dee Herbert
  7. why is everybody complainng " why did they get 3 players and we only got 2?" grow up Alcoa players: 0 Maryville players: 0 William Blount players: 2 you dont see me complaining
  8. His parents really want him to stay close to home , but hes revieved "interest" from places such as Bama, UT, Nebraska , and a few others. My opinion , he will be recruited as a TE but has the ability to start both ways in D1
  9. Tyler Robinson ( TE #89) for Alcoa will be returning for his senoir year. Tyler racked up 17 Td's this past year as a junior , along with a Mr. Football Award and Alcoas 5th straight championship
  10. Linemen Justin Marsh and Justin Hopky also reached their Max squat at about 550, But Toneys was 555, not 550, sorry to be technical /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  11. except to maryvile /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  12. Ya really , i heard OPEN was suppose to have speed and size this year, def a contender for a title
  13. Shelby County vs Blount COunty WE WIN AUTOMATICALLY , WE GOT GEORGE QUARRELS AND GARY RANKIN!
  14. Alcoa Vs FUlton 2006, Alcoa loses by 3, Fulton Wins 3A Championship Alcoa vs Maryville 2006, Alcoa Loses by 3, Maryville Wins 4A champiosnhip Alcoa vs McCallie 2006, Alcoa wins by 3, McCallie is runner up in DII Championship Spanked? Really? Would you mind defining what a spanking is? I thought Alcoa vs CG , 68-0 was a spanking , not losing to a state championship team by 3 /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  15. The only real problem with this is it would cut into the players Academic time too much. and travel expenses would be hard to come by, i mean , by the end of the season the Winning team would have played prolly close to 25 games
  16. Watch for Chase James to be a big threat at DB and also other Alcoa Tornadoe Sam Thompson to be a big threat at WR. THis should be a great game. Hope Coleman from Milan gets some good playing time
  17. haha and theres that one guy........that FB, 5'10 240lb...... /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  18. Am i the only one who thinks Greenback should get some love in the 1A poll? THey had a greatyear this year and Vanskiver had a great year
  19. wellhe did recruit us a 6'3 249lb TE /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  20. Yes , someone tranfering into the school system that does not live within the city limits has to wait for a year to recieve their eligibility to play from TSSAA. As for the private school student , they still have to be cleared by TSSAA, but it may take a shorter amount of time , im not sure about that one. You can find the rules for eligibility on tssaa.org
  21. When a kid tranfers in from another school system and He/she does not live in the Alcoa city limits , then he/she has to wait a year for his/her eligibility. If they move into the Alcoa city limits , then they are elgible to play any sport. Its not hard to understand , unless your one of the people that automatically say we recruit players , just cause we beat your school 50-0. Havent we had this discussion for ummmm....say......5 years? /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  22. Isom , IMO will be just fine as a shoe in for WR. He has shown great improvent this year and still has 2 more years to come to full potential. As For whos gonna be behind center, Tallant is great, he truly is , he also , as you could see friday , would be great for us on Defense. Sharp is a great kid, determined, hard worker and work ethic second to none. This will come down to whoever wants it more. Both will do great things for our prgram in coming years. Kicker and Punting positions, shewww, we got a long ways to go working with roberto. Brodus will be a great loss for his senior season. This is really up in the air for now Our Offensive and Defensive lines will be in good shape, returning veterans such as Jr's Marsh, Hopky, Walden, KErr, Burchfield and then Sophmores Evans and Stephens will also be returning. In the backfield we will still be covered when we have Jaron Toney, Herbert, Hambrick, Tyson and Warren back in for their Junior and senior years, with the lone exception of Vee Hambrick , who will be a sophomore. Of course atTE we will be returning the 6'4 240lb manchild , Mr Football Winner Tyler Robinson , who has one of the greatest sets of hands any of he coaches have ever seen at Alcoa. This next year wont be a time for the F5 to rebuild, just reload /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
