First half DC played a zone and Hollins KILLED it. Second half DC did what they do and played man and played fast. Free thows killed DC. The foul on Jackson was a bad break but thats not what beat DC. Staying in the zone too long and not hitting free throws were the dagger. Robert Hubbs will be the biggest recruit , outside of Memphis, in the whole state in the near future.

Everyone focuses on Prather and they cant stop him. I can't understand how Pearl or any other coach in the state would let him out of the state of Tennessee....makes me sick.

This game might get ugly but Prather will be the best player on the court regardless of the rankings. *Before I get blasted I would like to take a step back and say that Prather will be as good as anyone on the court. I know Thomas is a beast and a future NBA lock but I think Prather's game is more complete now. Prather can stroke the 3, handle the ball, has nice mid-range, and can take it to the hole. I know his competition isn't as good every night but I witnessed him put up 37 points and 21 boards against a very good Memphis team. He will show out against Melrose but doesn't have the horses around him to beat them.

MLK's coach will call a TO within the first minute......the coach is much more fun to watch than his team.

NS was getting beat by 20 with under 3 to play, if DC knew how to slow it down they would have won by 30. You can't blame this one on the refs.

You must have been at a different scrimmage. DC 1st string scored 4 out of 4 times. I hope someone from Westview with the correct knowledge will back me on this.

The bottom line was special teams were the difference. Switch special teams and I believe Dyer County wins. Dyersburg kicker is a weapon and will make a great addition to a D1 team.

He carried out the fake just like he was supposed to. The qb did his job and so did Mac. I wish the kid best of luck. He seems like a player!

The qb made a good fake and Mac did his job. There was nothing dirty about he play. Rein them in? The only thing they hurt on their team the other night was other peoples tackle total.

Dyer County Played every kid they brought except a few Freshmen. I had the score at 7-3 with UC scoring once on the 1st D. I could be worng on the 7-3 though. UC did drive the ball very well. Their QB was a heck of a player and their o/d line played well It seemed to me that DC didn't stretch the field and really worked on the screen game. This is hands down the fastest team Dyer County has every had. I think their big play potential is much better than last year. DC needs the secondary to step up and the oline needs to prepare for blitzing all year. freshman mlb Austin Brown and freshman de Cranston Fisk both played great! These two kids are something to watch for!
