I'm not 100% sure how the first round will be set up and their outcomes with the exception of victories for both Franklin and Brentwood. But the quarterfinal matchup will most certainly be Franklin and Brentwood.
That's unfortunate about Brown and Constantine. However the Rebel defense will rise to the occasion. I will say that both Centennial's and Franklin's offenses are the same when looking at their terms of productivity. However the difference between the two programs is Franklin's defense is far superior to Centennials. With that said Franklin will come away with a victory.

It's nice to see you back on here. You'll have to ignore "Goldendome's" accusations of you being a parent of Nick Smith. He does it to everyone who has a different opinion than himself.
You brought up some valid points about the team that went to the title game last year, most notably the region being down. However, I'm not sure Smith had anything to do with that team last year. He was more of a distraction to where the program needed to go rather than a solid coach.
Indy needs to finish this week strong against Columbia and come out with a win. It would be very unjust if Nick Smith didn't play QB. And someone should finally listen to me and put Heckman at running back and just see what happens. It's not like there's anything to lose.
And where did I say it was the best that year. I didn't! It was the best in 05 and the worst last year (07). This is based on the talent level and the way the teams in the region played against teams outside of the region.
You are crazy! The region was down last year. Not this year. From top to bottom this may be the strongest since the 2005 season but for sure since 2006.
I still think, and now more than ever, that the RB they were missing is/was Heckman. He still could have taken direct snaps and thrown the ball around. But his primary role would have been to be the RB.
I would also like to congratulate NE on a fabulous year. However you are still not to the level of the top tier of region 6 (Franklin, Brentwood, Ravenwood, etc.). Also, Rector is hands down the best coach in the region.

While heckman is a good runner. He is nowhere near the level of scales. Heckmans 40 time is a 5.0 to 4.9 while Scales is a legit 4.5 to 4.45. BIG difference. And he has more lateral speed too. And Centennial beat Indy making them the better team.
I would not say Indy was a one hit wonder. They just happened to have two real strong classes (07 and 08) come through already. They will be back.
The game has potential to be close with Centennial's defense not being on the same level as their offense. However with Chaz at the helm little will go wrong on offense.

I love how everyone that has an opposing viewpoint to yours regarding the QB at Indy is automatically assumed as the father of Nick Smith. It really shows your maturity level. But then again I am probably old enough to be your father.
Rector gets it done, again! While this game was very sloppy with many turnovers, both ways; Rector did what he had to do to get the win. I think these Raptors will surprise someone come playoff time.
I would have liked to seen things done differently at Indy this year.
There you go bashing Nick Smith again. It's okay to evaluate his play on the field (both positive and negative), but when you get on here and just put the kid down it shows your true maturity level. But then again you might not be any older than he is. He is still a kid until he graduates from high school.
