  1. As it has been previously stated, the best football in 5a lies between these two regions. Hands down, year in and year out. This will be a close game unlike last years game between the undersized and underskilled Indy team that got demolished by Smyrna. I am predicting a very close game, with Franklin prevailing at the end in a nail biter, 24-21.
  2. Was there ever a doubt?! Region 6 prevails once again!
  3. Yes as well as Franklin, Brentwood, Ravenwood, and Centennial. That would have been an interesting rival had they gotten it started earlier. But it may not be too late.
  4. because region 5 is the worst football region in the state (battling with region 1 and 3) year in year out, but agreed back to the Franklin-White Station game.
  5. Intelligent observation about my "kid" being the "backup" /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I have watched high school football for probably as long as you have been alive and I can tell you the quality of teams in region 6 and the west side of the bracket for that matter were down last year. I "give Indy props" for making it as far as they did, however any other year they are in a battle to the end of the regular season to make the playoffs as a 3 or 4 seed, not win the region. And you would be surprised how many people (high school coaches, college coaches, past and present players, etc.) agree with my assessment. But region 6 is back up to par this year, and as a result the Rebels will make it back to the Boro to compete for the title.
  6. If anyone has a chance it's Franklin. But that should be obvious.
  7. Yes sir. I would love to see one of "my Williamson County teams" come down to Spring Hill for a game. But depending on who, it could get ugly.
  8. Better than the Indy team last year, but about the same as the Ravenwood team from the year before that. I would say that the Ravenwood team had a better defense, however this Franklin team has a better offense. The west side of the bracket was down last year, however this year Franklin will have a chance with whomever the east side produces for the championship game (obviously I am picking Franklin in this one). Although if you can stop or limit Frankin's run game, then you will have a chance. Good luck to both teams.
  9. Congrats Franklin. Now it's off to the semi's, and then the state game. Represent region 6 well.
  10. Trust me, I will. I can guarantee one will be in the Boro come time week 15. By all means...
  11. Look, I'm not trying to bash Spring Hill, but their previous seasons (including this 2-8 campaign) speak for itself. And I have seen a Spring Hill game this year, against Columbia Central and was not impressed. But I hope they do improve, but a max of a 2 game improvement is all I see for next season. And since none of my children attend a high school yet, I do not have any one particular team that I follow. Notice how I said Williamson County 5a teams, not all Williamson County teams.
  12. I agree with everything you said except for the part on Palin. She is 10x more intelligent than our President-elect.
  13. I don't have one team. I reside in Williamson County, so I watch most of the 5a teams in the county play (Franklin, Independence, Centennial, Brentwood, and Ravenwood). Sorry I can't help you out anymore than that. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  14. That seems to be a common phrase you use when retaliating to someone about a player you have a different opinion about. Class Act. I wouldn't expect anything more.
  15. No way was Morris better than Kelly. Kelly is the best player this district has seen in quite some time and that includes the trio of guards from Franklin a few years ago, Bryce Carden from Centennial, TC from RHS, M. Dotson from Hickman Co., and any of the Hillsboro guys from their state tourney appearance team.
  16. Congrats Kathy! Does anyone know where she is interested in going to run in college at? Or what schools have offered her?
  17. just an educated guess, but I bet that I'm right
  18. In my opinion Chaz can play d1-aa ball or at a mid-major (CUSA or Sun Belt), however he might be able to go to a bigger school running track.
  19. Good. Any idea on where or if there has been any interest from any particular schools?
  20. Raiders go 3-7 next year. No playoffs for awhile though.
