MJ hasn't beaten a team with a winning record. They've also lost their last 3. They've played a tougher schedule but it sure didn't help them when they played Beech (a home game). Isn't one of your lineman (Case) out for awhile? Pulling for the Bears but believe GHS wins by 10. Your right GWave about the Wave never winning in MJ's new facility but, Roger is no longer coaching.
Nice GWave, but I would say Gallatin is the favorite because they have came together as a team and are clicking on all cylinders of late. MJ is still struggling to mesh as a unit. Hopefully MJ can pull off the upset. Good luck to the Bears. Always a hard hitting and intense rivalry no matter what the records are. Pray for a injury free game.
Brother David came out of surgery and the last update I got yesterday he was doing well. Continued prayers for him and his family. The Bison looked like world beaters last night against a very bad LHS football team.
HHS will get another loaded freshmen class next year. Hawkins Middle has got some size in the trenches (they're not just big ole slow boys either) with some speed in the skilled positions. Throw in a few good ones from Ellis and I can see the Freshmen for HHS next year going undefeated.
To be honest with you me and my son stayed home last night. He was exhausted from his practice (Big game coming up against Rucker Middle with several of our key players out) and I didn't get off of work until 1800. With the reclassification coming I might not ever have to sit on the visitors side in MJ. Hopefully at some point I can go catch a game or two at MJ this year. Good luck to your son and the rest of the Bears.
