  1. I can tell you that PC is not going to forfeit. Also, PC is not getting rid of football. The Jr Pro in PC went defunct, because some people did a bad job with it. That's the only football program being #### down in PC. How ever they are working on finding a new Jr Pro president to get it started and going back in the right direction. Back to the forfeit, I don't know who said that but it not true. PC has had a rough few years lately. Some of you can surely remember going through down times. PC is going to take their lumps and gain experience and continue to try and build a program
  2. PCVikingBcast, you keep referencing the 08-11 seasons for PC, last I checked the "greatest" Coach PC has had Rick Rice left in 2005. Our middle school is doing great this year. But they've won 2 games total in the previous 5 seasons. that means those kids are the same kids playing at PC right now. Hope you can see that correlation. The new Defensive Coordinator for the Middle school is doing great, but he is a middle school coach and not a high school coach. The middle school coach you referenced is the OC for the middle school, and he is the OC for the high school as well. So this offense that is "probably the worst" you've ever seen is being run by the same coach. I just wanted to point out that there are correlations from middle school success to high school success. PC is in a down turn, heck the program has won 64 games in 16 years. That's only an average of 4 wins per year, the 2009, 2010, 2011 seasons were exceptional, but that kind of talent hasn't been present here since then. I know we all wish we could live in those good ol days, but that's the past ans this is the present. It would be awesome to see PC being competitive, and i m sure that"s what the coaches there want also. But we should be supportive of the kids and the coaches that's how you build a program back up. Not by bashing the Kids and the Coaches. and if you don't think kids get on here and read this stuff you are badly mistaken. In a Basketball town, and yes PC is and always will be a basketball town, the football program will struggle. Especially when kids are told , by whomever, they can only play one sport because they don"t need to get injured playing football. That's my soapbox rant. I'm not trying to start anything with you PCVikingBcast, I just wanted to correct your facts. I hope that one day PC football will be competitive once again, but all I can do till then is cheer on and support my team. It'd be nice if we all tried that once in awhile.
  3. The jamboree is Friday at 6pm at Columbia Central, PC will be playing Zion in the first game of the night
  4. I guess it safe to say this is the last region 6 thread at least for 4 years, good luck to district 11
  5. PC gave up 2 scores to huntIngdon, huntingdon scored 3 or 4 times on east Hickman. The PC offense struggled some but had a few bright spots. Still a lot of work to be done in the next few weeks for PC from what I saw
  6. Good post monkey wrench, you are absolutely right (for once lol). Fans should be excited about whatever game they want. I was just saying most PC fans are probably looking forward to the Forrest game first since it is week 0 and is in linden
  7. Im glad this couple of LC fans are pumped up about the game this year. However, I believe that PC plays Forrest to open up the season so all your talk is kinda senseless for now, cause I'm betting that PC is only worried about Forrest right now.....one game at a time
  8. Wasn't being touchy by any means guys. Just saying there's some new faces and we don't quite know what to expect yet. Just have a feeling these kids are gonna do their best not to be in the bottom of the region
  9. I think we has the grasp on Football. However, in the past we have been criticized for bragging, this year we don't brag and we are being criticized its a lose lose situation. Let's just say there are some new faces and Linden and there is an excitement to see what this group can do. Don't doubt these kids, they know how to win and they expect to win. PC may not be the same as past years but we won't be bottom feeders
  10. Can anyone say wake up call!!!!!!!!!!! I truly beleive that PC will take tonight's experience and use it to re-focus and get better. PC had a wake up call against riverside last year and then they kicked it in gear. I only think that the same thing will happen. truly believe that the players and coaches have rededicated themselves to concentrating on the little things. Row Vikings Row
  11. I don't post on here very often, usually when i only feel a need to. I'm not sure why it's being said that PC is worried about stats and numbers. I fully believe the reason that the starters have been satying in as long as they have is because these kids needs playing time. Not that the young guys don't, but the starters need to be used to playing more than just a half, cause when it comes to crunch time in big games they won't be used to the situation if they've never been in the 3rd and 4th quarter of a game. Also if PC was worried about stats then against EHHS, SHHS, and LHS they would have kept slinging the ball instead of running thier old offense and grinding out the clock. That's just my opinion. I know Wayne Co. played awesome last year, but at crunch time against UC, don't you think they would have benefited from playing some whole games during the regular season, so thet they weren't wearing down in 3rd and 4th quarters? once again just my opinion and we all know hat opinions are like. As for the game this week I think PC will win, hopefully big, but most importantly i just want to see them get the W. PC has an off week next week and i would expect them to try and score early and rest as many guys as possible.

  22. As for the playoffs, WC has no losses in the district/region, C'Wood has 1 loss, PC has 2, and C'Ville has 3........that means that means if WC wins tonight the Order would be: 1. WC 2. PC (wins Tie breaker over C'Wood) 3. C'Wood 4. C'Ville If C'Wood Wins Tonight: 1. C'Wood (wins tie breaker over WC) 2. WC 3. PC 4. C'Ville I think that loss to MtP for C'Ville hurt them as far as an automatic qualifier goes, but they should still be in contention for a wildcard. C'Ville played a great game last night. they knew what it took to win and came out ready. Good job Bulldogs, Congrats to Coach Stockstill. PC needs to learn from theses last 2 games and get better from them. the future is bright in PC but they are still learning how to win. This has been a great season and something PC should most definitely be proud of. Keep up the hard work, learn from mistakes, and good things will happen....Go VIKINGS!!
  23. we're in districts now... uh actucally smarty pants we are districts 11 and 12, and we form together to play as a region which is still listed as region 6. know your stuff before you post.
