  1. I disagree. If it came down to being who was more well coached, then give the win to MBA who has beaten BA throughout the years by being more disciplined and coached better. BA seems to always have better athletes, but its MBA's discipline and preparation that always makes this into such a great game. MBA 24- BA 21
  2. Over 20,000 posts?? Thats impressive.
  3. You won the game numb nuts. That is the exact type of game MBA wanted. Keep the EHS defense on the field and their offense off by running the ball and running that clock. Great game.
  4. I would have to say MBA's new head coach who has MBA at 7-0, when they were 4-6 last year. impressive.
  5. Great game. Packed stadium with two very similar teams. It was a dogfight throughout the game, but MBA controlled the tempo and should of scored more than they did, but were plagued by injuries, like always, that made them stay one dimensional. I was impressed with Jefferson and his speed, but i just down think hes not as good as he was hyped to be. Orleans was shut down in this game and had little to no factor. Ballard was 2-9 for 20 yards with an interception and wasn't all too impressive for a senior. On the MBA side, EJ was kept quiet for most of the game, until he broke one for a 50 yd TD. Waddey was running hard and down hill going into the 2nd quarter, until he went down with a knee injury. Perhaps the player of the game was Tennessee commit Bartholomew who showed a great combination of power and speed to break the EHS defense continuously. EHS's defense did a good job all night of clogging the holes as best they could, only MBA's defense just did it better. It was a fantastic game, and this will be definitely become a great rivalry b/t these two schools. INJURIES IN THE GAME: MBA Starting QB(Wise) hurt his calf and limped all night, Tennessee commit (Bailey) did not play-knee, Running back (Waddey) went down in the 2nd quarter with a knee injury. EHS Starting running Jefferson went down in the 4th-not sure of the injury, Cornerback Blake Crozier was shaken up after being hit hard by Vinsang in the 4th, Defensive lineman Jackson went down in the 4th also.
  6. Even though I disagree with who you picked winning (I say MBA wins), Thank you for getting this blog back on the right track. Should be a great game.
  7. If you are from MBA like you say then let me be the first to say that is very disappointing for i thought MBA and Ensworth were supposed to be the "elite kids". Guess not.
  8. Okay you are in high school and show no sign of deserving to be on this website. I thought yamrocks was bad but this is ridiculous. I know you think you are funny but your comments have nothing to do with the game. Stop posting on here.
  9. You talk about those posts being irrelevant yet you still type up a full page essay which brings it all up again. Let it go. It came from someone who obviously was just trying to stir up ignorant people like yourself, who think that it was a serious statement.
  10. HAHA... Wow Ensworth fans love to talk before a game don't they??? They will learn their lesson quickly....Ill be posting first thing Saturday morning to update everyone on what happened in this game... Just a little advice Ensworth fans...Talk after you win (which i think you will lose) because your only adding more fuel to the fire...just a thought
  11. WOAH. Hold up. As always an Ensworth fan does not know what he is talking about. Do not tell me that you think EHS has a harder schedule than MBA. That is the biggest joke I have ever heard. MBA plays HILLSBORO, FATHER RYAN, BRENTWOOD ACADEMY, MCCALLIE, BAYLOR, ANTIOCH, INDEPENDENCE, ENSWORTH, RAVENWOOD AND JPII...The hardest team EHS has played is McCallie who is 3-3. Heres Ensworth's schedule. Ensworth's Schedule Christ Presbyterian Academy ---- Cpa? (35-28) wow. Joke. Might as well play FRA Bowers St. Benedict at Auburndale ---- this team is 1-5. Joke. Terrible team. lost 42-7 to ECU Stone Memorial ---- WHO???? Joke. Seriously who is this "team" haha. 1-5 @Webb (Knoxville, TN) ---- 6 seniors? Webb is having a .500 season McCallie ---- McCallie is (3-3) .500 and is Ensworth's hardest team yet. @Montgomery Bell Academy ---- Howd that Hillsboro scrimmage go Ensworth? MBA 17- Hillsboro 12 @Pope John Paul II ---- Worst team in the state. 0-6 Father Ryan ---- Father Ryan is back and is looking like EHS's only 2nd hard game. @Warren County ---- Lost 0-40 to Coffee County Central...Yeah id call this a JOKE Battle Ground Academy ---- BGA is finally winning... but then again it is BGA.
  12. Okay you seriously need to stop posting on this website. All of your comments are worthless and irrelevant. Anyway back to the game... This should be a great game, with a great atmosphere. Yes, this is MBA's homecoming and yes, there is history between these two schools, coaches and players that has already been posted in hundreds of blogs, so there is no need to discuss that any further. EHS is coming off a good win against McCallie and they should definitely earn some respect for that...however...That McCallie team, now (3-3), did not impress me. They showed no heart when EHS evened the score, and rolled over in the 4th quarter, giving up their 14-7 lead to lose 14-35. EHS definitely has some good athletes and they came ready to play friday. #9 and #10 are special players for EHS, who seem to be able to break it for a big play every single time they touch the ball. Solid win. MBA is coming off a scare against Ravenwood. MBA had complete control of the game, and was up 31-7 with six minutes left in the 4th Quarter. Then the 2nd stringers came in for MBA, and thats when the tide began to turn. An interception by MBA's back-up QB which Ravenwood took back and scored. TWO onside kick recoveries by Ravenwood, and both times they were able to throw it deep for two more scores. MBA thought the game was over and almost blew the game, but they held on to win 31-28. Wake up call for MBA. MBA vs. ENSWORTH: Both teams are undefeated and this will be a dogfight. MBA has been brought down to earth after their close game and will be looking to prove themselves again in this one. EHS has been looking forward to this match up since they became a high school and will be ready. MBA has been solid against the run all year, so it will be interesting to see how EHS, who wins off their runs, will do against MBA...MBA survives this game and comes out with the win
  13. At first, having heard this score, I was flat out shocked...but then after hearing how this game played out I understand what happened to MBA. They got COCKY and thought the game was over. They put in second stringers and almost blew the game, giving up 21 points in the 4th quarter. 31-7 MBA 6 minutes left in 4th quarter. Backups come in...Mba's back-up QB throws an interception and Ravenwood scores. First onside kick...Ravenwood gets in it. They throw it deep..touchdown Second onside kick...Ravenwood gets in it again...Touchdown Mba gets the kickoff...drives it to Ravenwood's own 5. MBA QB takes a knee. 31-28 MBA wins Huge mistake by the MBA Coaching staff to put in 2nd stringers, and then give Ravenwood any sort of confidence. MBA must learn from this and to never give up on a game or they will face loads of trouble in their upcoming games.
  14. Wow. McCallie completely disappointed me in this game. They were up 14-7 and looking to score to make it 21-7 but they screwed around on offense and had to try a field goal and they MISSED. They could of put ensworth away but they gave all the momentum to EHS and EHS scored on a big play then McCallie just rolled over. I was impressed by ensworth but more disappointed in McCallie. They showed no heart and put their d*** between their legs when EHS evened the score out and then they just bent over, and allowed 21 points in the 4th quarter. The MBA vs. EHS game should be a good one, but EHS is going to need to score earlier in that game because MBA wont put in 2nd teamers like they did against Ravenwood and almost lost because of it.
  15. Wow. Okay Ensworth fan, you have played no one. Stone Mountain High School? St. Benedict? Those are some powerhouses right there. Talk to me when you take down Father Ryan or MBA this season. I will say that EHS will be a great team in the FUTURE, not now with their weak senior class.
  16. Your right this is about ravenwood vs. mba and ill apologize for taking this a little off track, but I had to call out Yamrocks for his absurd comments. Shouldn't be a close game for MBA for ravenwood is down.
  17. Pearl Cohn wins big here by at least three touchdowns.
  18. Father Ryan wins this one by at least two touchdowns.
  19. Its okay guys, first off Yamrocks is an Ensworth High School fan who states in other posts how their QB Harrison Ballard is unstoppable (2-9 for 20 yards vs. CPA) and refers to Jefferson their running back when he is running as "BEAST MODE". Lets not take these comments seriously for he is living in the Ensworth bubble and thinks victories over stone memorial high school is some kind of accomplishment. Yes, BA is a great team, but so is MBA and so is Father Ryan. The fact that you refer back to a scrimmage with Hillsboro and BA is hilarious, bc i brought up Ensworths scrimmage with Hillsboro, (and how they got their ###### kicked) and all the Ensworth fans cried about how that was just a scrimmage and how it would be different in a real game. I love how all these EHS fans come on here and boast about their team. Back to BA though.. if we want to talk about scrimmages lets do so.. Mba scrimmaged Smyrna, who didnt have their star qb, and dominated them with each string that went in. Why is this relevant? Bc the smyrna QB played for less than half the game and BA still struggled to get the win. If you want to talk about scrimmages then id love to talk about the hillsboro vs. EHS scrimmage Mba will win this one BIG.
  20. What are you smoking?? Hillsboro was favored to beat MBA by all the papers and radio stations. Hillsboro is one of the top five teams in the state and even though MBA didnt show up to play, MBA won the game 17-12 in one of the best games i can remember. Mba is undefeated and Ravenwood has lost to Brentwood Highschool (terrible team) and several others. I love it how father ryan and mba are still predicted by most to lose each week, yet they are still undefeated and running all over teams.
  21. Ensworth's Schedule Christ Presbyterian Academy ---- Cpa? (35-28) wow. Joke. Might as well play FRA Bowers St. Benedict at Auburndale ---- Going strong at 0-4. Joke. Terrible team. Stone Memorial ---- WHO???? Joke. Seriously who is this "team" haha. @Webb (Knoxville, TN) ---- 6 seniors? Webb is rebuilding and is not a good team McCallie ---- 3-2 record. McCallie is down but Ensworth is too weak and small for us @Montgomery Bell Academy ---- Howd that Hillsboro scrimmage go Ensworth? MBA 17- Hillsboro 12 @Pope John Paul II ---- Worst team in the state. 0-5 Father Ryan ---- Father Ryan is back and is ready for this BEAT down! @Warren County ---- Lost 0-40 to Coffee County Central...Yeah id call this a JOKE Battle Ground Academy ---- BGA is finally winning... but then again it is BGA.
