To Maryville Fans: You have a great program I am not doubting that...But what is the common theme in this tread is that you have not played a single out of state team, played a DII school, or any team worth anything until maybe the state championship throughout this entire 65 game win streak. Maryville will only move up the rankings when they actually play a team that is worth something. They have not played a DII school throughout that entire "great" streak of wins and do not play anyone out of state. "TO BE THE BEST, YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE BEST". Play someone other than what your weak east tennessee schedule has on it, and let us all see how long that streak continues. Im sure Maryville is a good team, but PROVE you are the best is all I am going to say.

I like Ravenwood here because after seeing Goodpasture get man handled in the scrimmages I heard about or saw, I think they don't come out with a win.

Haha. Yeah you obviously heard that from an Indy parent/player. MBA's 1st team vs. Indy's 1st team was 21-0. Then MBA took out the starters half way through the 2nd quarter, while Indy kept in their 1st team the whole scrimmage until the last series. Yes the overall score was 21-13, but since in a real game the starters are the ones playing, then the real score was 21-0.

Some questions that im curious about: Is Crum MBA's only running back? Because he seems to be injury prone and they need a 1-2 punch package. Who is going to replace Rader and Wade at both safeties? And does this class of seniors have leadership?

MBA had 9 penalties for 54 yards and BA had 7 penalties for 31 yards. Stop complaining. If you watched the game, then you know MBA controlled the entire game and the score should of been a lot worse. Good year BA, but you lost to the better team. Congrats MBA on being 13-0, winning STATE, and being one of the top 25 teams in the country. Great year.

HA. Actually I definitely remember you from the last game and you were saying the exact same stuff... and look what happened. This will be a great game. Have respect for your opponent and remember you LOST to mba already this season so you have no reason to talk. Cant wait.

MBA is too well coached to overlook this game. And you can bet they want that undefeated record. (#25 in M. Preps national rankings).

MBA is 9-0 (will soon be 10-0 unless they slip up this friday) and they are the #1 one seed going into the playoffs. Coach Daniel McGugin has taken this team from a 4-6 record to being #25 in the nation (m. preps). They are undefeated beating good teams in Hillsboro, Brentwood Academy, Ensworth, and Father Ryan. I think he most definitely has the lock on coach of the year.

Great game. Even though I was going for Smyrna, it was still a very exciting game that came down literally to the wire. Good comeback Riverdale and Smyrna has nothing to worry about because they are a great team. P.S. Rod. Wilks is the real deal

MBA was 4-6 last year and missed the playoffs. Now with McGugin as head coach they are 8-0. If they beat Ryan friday (also 8-0), then go ahead and give the new MBA coach the title.

I believe this is about football (which Mba has beaten Ryan almost dominately throughout the last 10 years) not golf or baseball. Classy name by the way.

Good win by Ryan. I do have to say though that EHS's entire offense revolves around Jefferson and it showed on Friday. Im in no way taking away from Ryan's win becasue they played great, but Ensworth had to start throwing the ball and as we all know now, they are TERRIBLE at that. I hope Jefferson is able to come back because Ensworth is at a loss now. Anyway the Irish seemed to be a solid team and their RB is very good. The MBA vs. Ryan game wont disappoint and will be one of the best in a long time. Both teams are 8-0 and are rival schools. MBA has beaten Hillsboro, EHS, and Brentwood Academy while Ryan has had a lesser schedule at this point and have beaten EHS and McCallie. I think Ryan is a great team and im glad to seem them back to their winning ways, but I have been impressed by MBA's victories. They beat the best team Hillsboro has ever had and a BA team that almost everyone had picked to win state. I know Ryan has not had the opprotunity to play those teams (next week Ryan vs. BA) but I really feel like MBA is going to win this one. MBA 24 - Ryan 14

Yet MBA continues to beat every team they face. (8-0)... Anyway, I'm glad to see Ryan and MBA back to being dominate teams and EHS is proving to a force also... Ryan vs. EHS will be a great game, and a lot of people will be there to see if Ryan is as good as their record says, and EHS will definitely put them to the test. Ryan's key to victory is obviously stopping RB/QB Jefferson and if they can do that then they will get the W.... I think Ryan wins late in the 4th quarter, but don't doubt the new school EHS... This should be a great game. WC is having a great season so far, but I think they will fall to Riverdale in this one. It will be a dogfight, but Riverdale wins 28-17.

Brentwood Academy dominated Baylor winning by 30 and BGA barely survived in a win. BA rolls over BGA in this one.

This was a dogfight like always, but I think the better team right now won. Jordan didn't play, but Crum and Waddey are out for MBA so no excuses. Great to see the division wide open again...Should be a fantastic playoff.
