gonna take a guess at this.. if cosby loses to grainger it would be grace, if cosby beats grainger, it would come down to 2. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams winning 50 percent or more of their games. .. has grace beat anyone with a record over .500? Cosby would have wins over Cloudland and Hampton. making Cosby 1, it would then go back to the top, and Hampton gets 2 due to head to head, making grace 3 I saw this and thought the same thing.. it should say "your class (or higher)"

hypothetical situation here (but not terrible far fetched) .. Cosby beats Hampton, Hampton beats Cloudland, grace beats Cosby and Cloudland, all 3 are now tied with one region game lost.. so whats the tiebreaker?

sure, it could happen, and its just as likely they win all 3 and host a playoff game as a 1 seed.. whats most likely is somewhere in the middle.. I think hampton will beat them, they'll beat Unaka.. and grace, as much as i hate to say it, will probable beat them too giving them 4rth in the region.

wow, tough one to call still, I'll go with the obvious for now: 1. Hampton 2. winner of Cosby/ grace 3. winner of Cloudland/ grace 4. the one left 5. Unaka 6. Jellico Now, that being said, Hampton isnt head and shoulders better than Cosby/ Cloudland and could lose one/ both of those but I think its more likely that Hampton wins them. Cosby vs grace should be a good game, I think Cosby O can match up and "3 yards and cloud of dust" against grace, but grace has alot of athletes that can get big chunks, I really dont wanna pick grace 2 but its a bit hard not too..

I'll agree with this one .. How many total yards did hampton have at unaka? How many did Cosby have? Cosby got the ball on our 10 and scored, then on our 9 and scored.. if only we had fumbled at the 20 instead, our Defense coulda held them out.. LOL

sorry, i disagree with UHS playing their best.. Our D played really good (your 2 TD drives total yards = 19 yds, you started on our 9 and our 10 !!!) It was the TO's that killed Unaka that game.. the game turned on the 2 fumbles deep in our end, the 4rth down fake you all got, and the safety..

Exactly how does one overlook a team that has gone to the semi's 3 years in a row? You all should have had the same motivation you had against Coalfield and Unaka, and that was a chance to finally beat a team that has thrashed you ever year your program has been in existence, not to mention that game might (very small might) have been for the region..

the qb was tackled, it might have been an option type call tho, I think 8 was kinda trailing and sweeping the same direction.

Hard to pick which one to actually reply to, this one will do, I guess... Unaka played fairly poorly, How many drives did you all have start inside our 20?, how many inside our 40? Someone said if you all had only scored every time you were inside our 20 it would have been a blowout, thats just it, you all couldnt punch it in on us.. Our QB carries the ball like a loaf of bread, the fumbles weren't due to great defense or him getting huge hits on him, he just doesnt carry the ball securely. The safety did swing the game a bit.. who in the heck runs a sweep on your One? Great call! The other play that swung the game, you all were punting, we had 10 men on the field, a gunner didnt get covered, easy pass, first down. All in all, yes you all "should" have scored 40, but you didnt... Also, I thought the "prowler" defense was a cute touch.

my thoughts exactly, if this was someone that has been a player for grace through the bad times, he would know what its like on the other side and while being proud of his team wouldnt be rubbing the salt in so hard.

yup, i did the same thing, grace is scoring around 50 per, the teams they've played are giving up 42 per

just do some of us that cant make it a favor, call some people you know that are going to the unaka game and have them give the score to our PA guy..

Not to completely derail this thread, but .. .. Any word on how P.Smith and D.Hyder are doing? And, did ehs have any other signees that i might have missed?

Cloudland High School 360 Jellico High School 390 North Greene High School 398 Unaka High School 419 Hampton High School 437 Cosby High School 483 I really dont see a reason to break any of these out, maybe cosby, but cloudland to hampton is only 77 students. I think that actually looks about right for region 1A.
