  1. This is a classic setup for being a tough game for Hickman County. We cannot look at East Robertson's record this year and look past them. This will be the next to last home game for the Indians and they will be playing hard to put a damper on the pending Region championship game vs. Lewis County on 10/17. Let's hope the players and coaches focus is solely on East Robertson and take care of business.
  2. My son plays on Hickman County's Team. I would like to get some of the pictures sent to me if possible. My e-mail is tidwell_1999@yahoo.com. Not sure if anyone is recruiting Scott yet, but they should. He is a great back.
  3. I was out of town and didn't get in until late. How did the Hickman Co. vs. Millington match up go?
  4. The Tennessean has Hickman County preseason #1 for 2A/Region 6. They also had an article about the new coaching staff at FRA. 10 State Championship rings on the coaching staff now. Does anyone know what FRA has this year personnel wise?
  5. Watched the Hickman County scrimmage with Spring Hill yesterday p.m. Hickman scored at will and didn't allow the SH offense past mid field for the majority of the scrimmage. They did score late but against the 2nd Team D.
  6. Hey Lions4ever, what's the scouting report on Goodpasture? I know in years past they've been huge up front and could throw the ball well. What should HC key on?
  7. As in the first game, turnovers played a huge role. I thought the initial unsportsmanlike penalty on LC's first play from scrimmage was big. The play of the HC defense to prevent LC from scoring after the interception on the fake punt was even bigger. LC did not capitalize on turnovers and the Dawgs did! Hat's off to the HC offensive line, much better blocking, controlled the line of scrimmage better this time around. And what about the 2 big offensive plays from D.J. Key!!! HC throws a post for a touchdown! Who would have thunk it? D.J. also came up big on the defensive side of the ball, shutting down the corner on #17 and preventing long runs that killed us last time. This game had many hard hits on both sides. I take my hat off to the LC Coaching Staff for recognizing our starting corner had to come out of the game for an injury and passing to that side for a TD. Great game, great effort from both squads. Neither team should hang their heads for the outstanding seasons they have had. This is what HS Football is supposed to be about! Go BULLDOGS!!! Let's let Goodpasture know who we are!!!
  8. Last game of the year for both schools. A win makes HC the #2 seed in region 6. Richland has improved in 2007 and has a lot riding on this game. Not sure what type of offensive scheme they use.
  9. First time going to a game in Hohenwald. Can someone let me know if the address on Coach T's site is the location? Thanks for nothing "traveler 282"...
  10. Are Lewis Co. football games played at the high school or the city park?
  11. It is homecoming for the Bulldogs as well. This is a game that the players should not be overlooking because of their opponent's record. Those types of games can come up and bite you if you're not careful. If Swenson keeps them focused on one game at a time, they should be just fine. They showed a lot of heart in a close game vs. Lawrence Co. last Friday night. Go Bulldogs!!!
  12. Scott Sowell @ Hickman County. Second in the state in scoring and sixth in rushing. Jr. running back with a lot of speed and determination. Made one of the best runs I have ever seen late in the 4th quarter last week vs. Lawrence County. Had 273 yards and scored 4 TD's (all in the 4th qtr.)
