Defense wins championships and tonight that was the story of this game. The turnovers killed us. They were a result of your hard play. Congrats on a well played hard fought game and good luck next week. Bulldawgs...you were a great team to watch this year and I along with all the other milan fans are proud of your effort this year. It is always fun to watch a team over achieve and that is exactly what you did this year. Work hard this off season and come out swinging for another run at it next year.

here is the deal. I mean this with no disrespect but we have a few guys up front on defense that really dont care because you will be watching one of them on TV next year. the others are a bit smaller but they are athletic. Having size is one thing. Having size and athleticism is another. This will be a great match-up. Milan runs a stop-me-if-you-can basic I offense. There is really nothing flashy about it. Last week against Camden was a hard hitting smashmouth game. This will probably be no different.

Here is what I have gathered having seen them a little. They run the wing T with multiple sets and a few other formations. They love the jet sweep. They dont really have the feature back like in the past with Benji Cunningham. But, they do have several good backs that can do some dangerous stuff with the football. QB is legit. He can throw it, but his biggest threat is that he can tuck it and run it. look for the boot with the QB never intending to throw it Just rolling out tucking it and running. They are huge up front. Not real sure of how athletic the big guys are though. Defense is ok, but the secondary can give up some big plays. This will be a slobber knocker but I have confidence that Milan Can Get the W. this should be a fun game to watch as two well disciplined, well coached, and great traditions line up. I cant Wait.

Really....Come to think of it our seniors were sophomores too....that is so Ironic.....lol. You dont have to worry about giving away your secrets the film swap has already happened. Coach Morris and Company have probably logged a good 10 to 15 hours of Goodpasture film. We are just fans wanting to know what to expect.

We all know that maybe there is a board of controls. But, we also know who called the shots and put into play anything that was wanted at the TSSAA office. I have talked to alot of coaches in my day and have never heard one of them say that the TSSAA wanted what was in the best interest of the students and or schools. They wanted to cut down on travel so they stuck milan in the same quadrant as York Institute. York had to drive about 260 miles to play a playoff Game. If anything can be called moronic it is that. What it comes down to is fatter salaries and more money to play with at Teenagers and schools expense.

I appreciate the good luck at the end of your post. However, the rest of it was not so classy. When you take a team that 10 years ago if you called them mediocre it would be a compliment and take them to the heights that is year in and year out considered one of the best in the state how can you question your coaches...It is what it is...there can only be one state Champin our class every year. you won 12 games this year I would venture a guess that there was probably a time that you didnt win that many in three years put together. This is a stepping stone to getting to be a tradition rich program. Support your coaches that are leading you there....They are doing a better Job than has been done for a great while now....

WOW.....That was one for the ages. Both teams played super hard. Camden gave us all we wanted and more. taking a 30 yard sack was a crusher early on that really hurt Camdens chances. Number one came in and really did a good job for you guys and kept you in the game. But, in the end defense wins championships and quarterfinal games!!!! Camden you guys are awesome!!!We enjoyed it! P.S. What a great fanbase you guys had tonight!!!!

As a Milan Fan this may sound a little wierd but, I want yall to be good. Because, it makes season alot more fun to play good teams rich with tradition. With the rivalry we have had it makes for some awesome friday nights. Good luck with getting this thing back on track and having some more epic battles in the future. I hope yall are 9-1 next year and you can guess where I want that 1 to come from.....

You did nothing wrong!!!! some are a little sensitive. However, Milan has a new challenge ahead of them and if I know Milan they already have a game plan together. Morris, Jackson, Holden, Pettigrew, Roberson, and the rest of the gang will have this team ready to play next week. Ward and gang will also. It is time to put this one to rest and move on to some bigger fish.

Let me get this straight you say that Milan and lewis County in the same position. HMMMM there is a couple reasons why this is a stupid statement. Milan has finished second in the state to one of the top teams in the nation for the past two years. To be realistic that is not what any Milan people wanted but, It is a heck of a lot better than going to Basketball games come middle of November. Obviously, you have no idea what an honor it is to play in a championship game. I mean the Indianapolis Colts lost to the saints this past year so what you would say is that they are in the same position as the Detroit Lions. That is just dumb. I have not heard any Milan people chanting state bound. But ultimately it is expected. That is the goal every year. It is a heck of a lot better "position" than hoping to make the playoffs.

I wonder if Coach Bland has any tricks up his sleeve this year to try to get into the DAWGS heads. Last two years this game was played at Milan and the vikings bus showed up to the stadium with just minutes left prior to kick off. They Got off the bus, ran through the paper, and started the Game. No pregame warm ups or nothing.....It didn't work though. The past two years the score has been Milan winning 28-0 and 24-7. I think it will be a little closer tonight but I think the W will stay in the DAWGS column.
