Does anyone know who will be on Joslin's coaching staff?

I don't think Maddux is Church of Christ. I believe because of this he can not coach at Goodpasture.

He has been defensive coordinator at Westmoreland for a while with Coach Kelly.

Has anyone been named Coach here at Westmoreland?

How many years away is this idea away from becoming reality????????

May be a good situation, but I would think that with the previous coach being there for so long and remaining on the faculty, the new coach will have someone "looking" over their shoulder.The article in the paper said they wanted new ideas and a fresh opinion, but the first time the new coach does not do things like Coach people will start to question him.

Clock runs when a team is up by 35 in the 4th quarter not 3rd. It stops for time-outs,shooting fouls, and injuries only.

I think they should go after Mike Bever, the O-Line coach at Smyrna. He has Head Coaching experience and look at what Smyrna just accomplished.He is a good football coach, would bring a good staff to the school.

No doubt that SC has had some good coaching. But one can not put to much stock in what happens at the "lower" levels that feed your program.If that were the case,in most years, Gallatin would be worse than Red Boiling Springs.Look at where Hendersonville wound up the year and look at the stability of their program. Their lower tier teams do not always fare that well, but they usually experience success at the high school.

I believe he spells his name Hollinsworth, not Hollingsworth. Growth is expected at all of the Sumner schools.Beech opened in 1980 and they did not win the title until 2009.

Don't overlook WH-Heritage with Coach Petrone. He will get the best from his guys.

It seems that when a question like this comes up, people naturally start looking for big names to put into certain situations. I would like to know if some of these possible openings should be filled by new "blood" instead of coaches moving from one school to the next based on a good offer if you know what I mean. Some assistant coaches in the state may have a good idea of delegating tasks instead of trying to do the job by themselves.

Championship caliber teams do not overlook any one , especially one that has not had a winning record in several years. Like 2005, WH might have lost the regular season game, but they will win when it counts.It seems like WH has won 28 of the last 30 games in this series. Shut-up and get back to practice.

21-6 Weak Current over Bison. The current had 40 rushes for 90 plus yards. Not so mighty Green Wave anymore. H'ville and Beech licking their chops.And there is hope for Portland to win a district game it looks like.
