  1. Could you please list the names and addresses of all the players that are zoned for South-Doyle and are playing for Alcoa. I am sure that many people would be interested in this information if it is true, especially since they got away from Maryville. The truth hurts!
  2. I have asked many times for names and addresses of transfer students that pay tuition that play sports at various schools. I have gotten no response from these teams or from posters that know probably every player on their team that they support. If these teams are saying that they are winning because or superior coaching, tradition, feeder system or anything other than tuition paying transfer students then what do they have to hide by telling who these tuition paying players are. Just tell the truth and put the so called haters of these teams to rest. The truth hurts! But this solution is to simple for everyone. I do not think that the TSSAA will look into this because they might find out that some public schools are acting like private schools and they might be made to apply the multiplier to adjust their enrolment made to play private. I do not believe in the multiplier. Just make all private schools play each other for a championship and make all tuition charging public schools play the privates also because they are acting like private schools. I never said that private and public charging tuition schools could not play each other or other public schools in the regular season. They would only play public vs public (not charging tuition) for a championship in one division and private vs public (charging tuition) in the other division. Public schools that charge tuition have been hiding for years in the public division instead of playing private like they should. TSSAA allows this.
  3. does every mean every post? My first post never mentioned Maryville.
  4. S0rry Solomon, did not mean to get out of my league,I better shut down because the library tells me my time is up on the computer.
  5. Sorry Ron, My teams have never played Maryville but I am trying to head them off at the pass before they have to play DII or 5A. Oh I forgot Maryville is building a new school to keep for playing 5A.
  6. Please put me out of my misery and shut me down now like you did before, but who would STARSANDBARS have to be jocular with other than me.
  7. Sorry Reb, I am from MBA ,am just trying to get Maryville into Division II (Private School) league because we are need some more competition after dominating DII for so long. We will travel to you.
  8. I love talking to Maryville posters because the are so intense and funny at the same time. In my opinion, according to a friend of mine, they said that Tim Hammontree built the Maryville program to where it is today, and Coach Quarles perfected it. He used to play at Maryville on a full ride but he wants to stay annoyomous.
  9. Thanks STARSANDBARS is she a Maryville resident or a transfer student paying tuition.
  10. I wish I was Heather Harringtion's brother then maybe I could get some dates with her UT friends. Actually I am the ghoost of past Maryville coaches that is tired of Coach Quarles stealing all the glory that I deserve. BOO!
  11. Who are these teams, what class, and have the been good teams or championship teams? Do they play public or private and should they be made to play private?
  12. Baldcoach, should public schools that allow transfer students to pay tuition and be eligible to play sports play private since they are operating as a private school for students that live outside of their zone. It would be interesting to see if the public schools that do this would object, and to see how many of their players are tuition paying transfer students that start on some of these championship teams!
  13. Do they have the address of the players in the program? MC865 is curious about this.
  14. Yes JaxMan Maryville has an open school zone. Students that live outside of the Maryville City zone can attend Maryville High school if they transfer and pay tuition. Do you know of any schools that are public and charge tuition to transfer students in your area of the state. They play in public DI and have won 52 games in a row and the the last 4 or 5 state championships in class 4A. Most of their competition are public schools that are closed school systems where you have to move in to the zone to be eligible to play sports.
  15. fairplay2121 you know that this is a sore subject for REBELRON. He is in denial about Maryvilles team being so succesful with just Maryville players. If this is not true and he knows the history of all these players that have transfered out of Maryville, then he should know all of the players that have transfered in to Maryville.but not moved to Maryville, just paid tuition so they would not have to move into the Maryville school zone.
  16. I did not know that Brent Burnette moved to Maryville. His neighbor in Halls says that he still lives in Halls. I wonder if the Burnett's moved to Maryville and kept their house in Halls. Maybe CZAR could figure all of this out for us?
  17. I do not think that this topic will get much attention on this thread, that is why we will have status qou or SOP. Could this thread be moved to another board so that more posters could see it and comment?
  18. REBELRON, quit crying about watered down fields and Knox County officiating, claw ball is waiting on you to tell the truth about Maryvilles out of zone tuition paying eligible playing starters that make Maryville such a good football team or is it just good coaching. Maybe Coach Quarles could give you this information or STARSANDBARS has the lineups from the old programs, I am sure CU865 would like to know. The truth hurts.
  19. I am not crying about Maryville. If I am crying about any thing it is about a level playing field. I do not think that to many people take this topic very serousily, especially TSSAA. I know that some of my post have been sarcastic but I thought that was the best way to get replies because other posters were sarcastic or not very serious. My question still is about an equal opportunity for all teams to compete against other teams that go by the same rules pretaining to school zones, transfer policy, tuition charged or not charged, etc. I thought that I was very specific about this in my last post. I wish that some other posters would reply in a serious manner. Maybe someone that knows of a public school that allows transfers from out of theirschool zone to pay tuition and be eligible to participate in sports could give their opinion. I would also like for a poster from one of these public schools that charges tuition to honestly tell how many players have played starting roles on their teams. I question if this in formation would be reported, but prove me wrong. Maybe the Head Cqach or Athletic Director of these teams would volunteer this information. Why should this information be so secret, what is there to hide? If this information is reported honestly for the past 10 years then maybe this issue could be put to rest or maybe the rules could be changed. I hope that I have asked ligitimate questions and have presented some good ideas. I welcome similar responses.
  20. Should public schools that charce tuition be allowed to play in the public division,or should they be required to play with private schools that also charge tuition. Should the multiplier be applied to public schools that charge tuition like private schools who want to play in the public division? Should their be a semi-private league for these schools?
