I have to say that is the most sweetest prayers I've ever heard! All the softball players should try to memerize and say it before each ball game ( however, I would have trouble getting it all down considering it's long) But, definitely a good mark on this one, I like it!

I remember Unaka playing Cosby for the sub-state last year and Cosby was a very well coached team. Was Cosby's pitcher last year a Senior? I think her last name was Valentine, I'm not for sure though. Volleyeagle, you think there is a good chance they can meet up again in the sub-state? Heck, maybe even against Unaka.

I've heard of JarFly Dugger and he is pretty dang good. Anyone he works with is bound to be a good pitcher. He is well known in this area and is a fine man, very supportive of fast pitch softball and loves the game. If you haven't had the oppertunity to see him pitch, your truly missing out.

Everyone on the team should respect and back each other up, even when a mistake is made. And yes the bench plays a huge part. When your on the field it's nice to hear the bench and fans together screamin' for you, it's a real confidence booster. I remember my freshman year, one of the Seniors made us cheer and scream from the bench (and at times she scared us ) But it's a great thing to support your team, regardless if your on the bench or on the field.

So, how many of you transfered to Unaka from T.A Dugger? I am curious of what Elizabethton thinks of this Also, I know that Unaka is kicking off their jamboree this weekend, that will be a good chance for all upper north east TN teams to come together and get some pre-game/practices in, it should help a lot (that is if the weather is willing to cooperate ...Who all will Unaka be playing in this jamboree?

Yeah I heard Unaka got some transfers from Elizabethton, some good ones too. And Unaka plans on playing Elizabethton too? That will be a good game! But of course every team needs practice and hard work, and by the way this weather has been going it's going to be hard to stick some hard practices in. I think this years team is going to be like last years, they will start off slow but they will pull it together and be strong. University High will be tough too, and they are out for Unaka because of last season. But Hicks is a great coach and he knows his stuff, so look forward to winning another conference, district and regional title.

Happy Valley has definitely took a step up, and I believe they will continue to grow better. But in 1A, I predict Unaka to be strong (again). They are going to be young, but they will pull it together and win another Conference, District & Regional. I also feel that University High will be tough too. But I am still going with UNAKA!

WAY TO GO UNICOI! I just wanna say that all of the girls on the Unaka Lady Ranger softball team are proud of you for your accomplishments. You guys deserved it all. Congradulations Coach Baxter, you had a wonderful season. Congradulations LADY BLUE DEVILS!!!

I am so proud of Unicoi County. They deserved it all and I wanna wish them the best of luck. GO LADY BLUE DEVILS!!!
