Hey Valley - There is no use in replying to one of the few town idiots that are jealous of the success that Coach Davis has had in the last 15 years. Coach Davis has the support of the administration and a majority of the community so let that small group talk as loud as they want because what they have to say are falling on deaf ears. Coach Davis is a good coach and more importantly a good man that cares about each and everyone of his players. What ever he does to try and motivate his players is fine with me, even if it is removing the "P" from the helmets, then so be it. This years team seem to know what it means to be a Polk Co. football player so you could say that removing the "P" from the helmet worked. They play with discipline, effort, and toughness. Keep up the good work Coach Davis and know that the people who come watch the Wildcats play on Fridays are proud to have you as the leader of these young men. Go Wildcats and good luck against Central!

What makes you think the coaches overlook your son? I believe he has played on the varsity since his sophomore year.

Please ignore this quitter. He tried to play football for a couple years at Polk Co. but was not tough enough to hang with it. He always went on vacation when the hitting started in the fall and would miss Tuesday and Wednesday practices during the season because those were the two rough days during the week. The Eagle needs to land at Sherwin Williams, I think his dad needs some more paint and he can pick up a pack of Marlboro's for himself while he is out. Believe me the Polk players and coaches respect CAK and know that this is going to be a tough and hard fought game. Most Polk fans are respectful, you will see this Friday night. This guy is an idiot and just stirring the pot.

Check again Gerry, Bledsoe is east of Howard. It is a toss up with Tyner and Bledsoe.

Too bad Boyd wasn't allowed to play Basin with their middle school team. It would have been a much better game since Basin has played a middle school schedule all year. I knew Basin would have a tough time against actual high school players.

I will take Boyd in this one. Basin has played a middle school schedule so far this year. Basin had the opportunity to upgrade their 2011 schedule by adding Polk Co. but their coach declined. I guess a good gate doesn't make a good ole wood shed beating worth while.

Just to let you guys know SgtEagleFort did play at Polk but it was only mop up duty on Monday nights. He couldn't handle Polks physical practices and quit his junior year. When he was on the team he was known as an ERW (Eat - the team meal, Ride - the team bus, & Watch from the sidelines). If he played as tough as he talks he would have been all state. So Central fans keep this in mind when he gats on here and starts running off at the mouth. We all look forward to a good hard fought game Friday night!

If you do not believe this or know for fact why even post that on here. I believe you are just trying to start rumors..... You need to sit back and listen to Butch & 6+4+3=2, these gentlemen have more knowlege and forgot more than you ever knew..... If I didn't know any better I would say that they were twins seperated at birth. Butch was raised in Etowah and 6+4+3=2 was raised in Benton.
