Maj,got your back on this one,kids were not prepared mentally at all,overheard some of the kids and parents this week on their take of sweeywater,said they were told thy only had one athlete(that being #7)didnt even prepare for #6(who is the best running back we have faced yet),you do not EVER down talk an opposing team for any reason,these are young kids they beleive most of what a coach or authority figure tells them,i to put this one on the coaches.Kids play the game yes,but they have to be prepared in the right frame of mind!These kids are not used to being very sucessfull in high school and are very young,make sure they are prepared!!!!What happened to the power I when you are on the five yard line,thats always been GBs bread and butter!

i used to be a big loudon county football fan,lc included,they used to have a heck of a coach in barry lyles and a good man also,poltics run the school and the coaching staffs if you do not comply they run you off,so no i dont really like them much anymore.barry was turning the program around and playing the kids who wanted to win and lay it on the line,not the moms and daddys who run the city just because he was job scared!you asked,now you know.

not really,drop back style,with some roll outs.not saying that he cant but not usually.

dum-dum,LC and Heritage will contend for last place in their district,neither one is a impressive team,heritage has two wins against two teams who probably wont win a game,as in an earlier post of mine on the LC-Heritage thread we knew that would be a(good game)????,i look for you all to play them very tough maybe not win but will be a pretty good game,LC looks to be a little better,but not much,loudon kept LC in the game by playing terrible.you guys have improved alot more than they,but they probably have more tallent,but as we all know tallent dont win every ballgame,you guys have a GREAT coach who will have you ready,as i have said earlier if you all get some confidence,you all could be a tough team to beat in your district.wilhite(the defensive coordinator)for LC is a fine defensive coach,they wont lay down but i do expect a good game!LC can throw,but he is young(a sophomore)but he makes some bad decisions if you get after him.

you may win but you will not hold them scoreless!

Loudon played terrible let LC stay in the game,but heritage hasnt played anyone yet,this will be a game of two down programs there for should be a good game for each other,could go either way.I'll take heritage just because they have won a couple of games.

dont know anything about sunbright this year,they are usually terrible,they schedule a weak very weak schedule every year,have seen coalfield they are like us very young but they are a physical bunch of younguns and they will give it all they got,i will go ahead and say coalfield wins a close one!

T2F,we're in the same boat cant really justify those wins yet,looking forward to just being better this year,but i dont think this will be an easy W for either team,cannot compare last year we had a total joke for an offensive coordinator couldnt even get the snap off without delay of games,WE ARE MUCH BETTER COACHED this year,they will be much more competetive.should be a good night for district games to start no prediction here,just hoping to have a good game to build on.Good luck to all and hope every one stays healthy!

Greenback fielded some semi final teams early to mid 90's,have been real sucessfull up until the last five years with the exception of the 2008 team,they are heavy on the freshman and sophmore class,yes they do have the tallent in the stable to compete and make some deep playoff runs(in the future).yes maj you are right cannot be consistant changing coaches every year,most of these kids hav played for jones and ridge,you never know this could be a surprising season i hope.went last night to get a look at these young uns,and they shore can play!

wait till your season is over to say building a program,this district is just to big and physical for LC,maybe three wins this year,and to build a program you have to start winning ball games,really no disrespect but three wins a year in 5a ball is not competetive,i would like to see them go back down to where they can be competitive being a loudon county native it would be nice to have three competetive ball teams,this game was almost given away by loudon,they played terrible,but still won,got to be able to advantage of those situations.i heard that the qb checked off to a pass on the one yard line-WHY- run the football!

knowing both teams pretty well,if seq has sucess early look for them to win this one big also,i'll take the chiefs by three scores!

Maj,very good post,my thoughts exactly,the two prior teams have had MUCH larger lines,PF was supposed to have some really good skill players but niether were ready to play,this friday could set the tone for the kees season-lose and could have major setbacks,win and could be a special season(not talking about state run or anthing)but set the tone for the next few years,the stable over on the reservation looks loaded with some great players.looking forward to fridays matchup,also i'm sure some of the tiger fans will be commenting on this one,i dont think PF had any fans,i KNOW rockwood does!how do you all look tiger fans?

couple years ago we were in the third round of the playoffs,where were you all at oh yeah,i think we beat you all by 30 something at half and the little kitty killers played the rest of the game.i like you,you are funny,dont know nothing about football but none the less entertaining!

Just for the craps and giggles your QB was 0-6 and two interceptions-were you even at the game?

boy from alcoa turned the ball over two times inside the five,had 90 yrds passing and one td,ran for maybe two,sophmore running back seymore(remember that name)had 100 plus yrds,the team was very balanced the kid from alcoa is still adjusting to Greenback football(but we are glad to have him).your alls running back did have about 170 yrds though.

after scrimmaging seq,i personally think they will win the next two games on thier schedule,scotts a pretty good team,seq will surprise a few teams this year especially if they get some confidence.(and stay healthy)!

maybe you all will be the team they get to play for the eleventh game since you all will not make the playoffs,kitty kat.lol!

heard the same thing ligaments or something of that matter,heard they are much better bigger and more physical,will be good to get our best D-lineman back and a stud of a fullback in the seymore kid,was impressed to say the least of GB friday,hope that just wasnt a terrible meigs team!
