  3. Probably did not word that well! Just my thoughts that having played competitve sports myself,I can remember being just as emotionally drained after winning as after losing! nothing wrong with that ,but it is how well you are able to refocus for the task at hand!Looking forward to a great atmosphere and game tomorrow! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  4. I think it's probably kind of an emotional drain.Tension ran sky high before last game, but they showed what they were made of!!!!Come tomorrow that excitement will come flooding back! 5. Not at all! But thanks !I just believe in positivity. CAN"T is not a word it is an attitude! My kid is not allowed to say CAN'T! I think when those boys get out there and see the huge mass of orange in the stands things will change! So let's get them pumped up! GO CHOCS!!!!!!!

  8. Many people seem to forget coaching goes way beyond what goes on on the field. It takes ALOT of TIME and dedication to be a coach.Be grateful you have people other than yourselves to teach your kids about life, sportsmanship, accountability, dedication and so forth.Sure you have parents that are immensely supportive of their kids but on the other hand sports is ALL some kids have as a positive life lesson! For this reason alone comments should be kept positive! People get hyped up and seem to forget the bigger scheme of things /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Good luck Trojans and GO CHOCTAWS!!!
  9. I was sitting around thinking earlier that I didn't get to go to hardly any games this year, but was glad to go to the ones I did.I am really not knowledgleble about football at all,but what I love is the sense of community I feel at a game.I've been to many games- college, pro, high school, middle school but no where have I felt more of a sense of community than at a DC game!I love to see a game played intensely and passionately! Sure these kids have worked their butts off to get where they are, but we have a responsibility to stand behind them!Don't think they don't feed off our excitement as we do theirs! I hope to see another great game fri.night! GO CHOCTAWS!!!
  10. Amen to that! Nobody ever said we had to hold hands and sing kumbayah together but can people not have enough respect for both teams and what they have accomplished! Shout out to Newbern Mustangs who had 4 all conference players! Go Choctaws! Focus and PLAY TO WIN!
  11. Sometimes I feel like I am reading a jr.high post /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  12. What an incredible post!! Your post touched my heart as it did others! You are an inspiration for all dads and moms alike /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  13. I don't think anyone one person should be singled out for loss of a game. What is important is that you look at your faults and see where you can improve in the future. To single out a single person is detremental to T-E-A-M!To pick up the pieces and improve on your faults and not dwell on them is the definition of team in my book. Courage in the face of adversity! What people seem to forget is the way these kids are taught can directly impact the rest of their lives. I believe in positive reenforcement and accountability of actions.I am so not an expert on football but what I enjoy is seeing these young people grow through sports. Negativety breeds more. GO CHOCTAWS!!!!!
  14. I suspect if Trojans had won you would have heard that same talk coming out of their mouths! Big deal kids talk! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
