Coach Froedden is at Sycamore now. Great guy and an excellent coach. It is a shame he never got a chance to coach all the talent DC has now. If memory serves me correct, the only player on the floor now that Coach Froedden coached is Crittendon, and I think he was a freshmen then. DC fans could help me out on that one. Hang in there Galilee. You are a good guy. Keep fighting the fight and maybe one day before it's too late the powers that be will realize schools can't save every kid. I don't know the answer but somehow we have got to get the punks with no intention of graduating or doing anything productive in life out of the schools. How? I have no idea. Maybe one day someone smarther than I will find the answer and the liberal gov't will let you teachers and administrators do their job again. I say, bring back the paddle that we grew up with and start putting the fear of God in these kids when they are young. Maybe then they will learn respect. NWTNSPORTS, Are you kidding me? Obion had 59 FG attempts and Milan only had 39 and Obion still got beat 10? I also noticed not much of a difference in FT attempts or rebounding. That fg attempt stat boggles my mind. Sounds like it was a pretty good game though, hate that I missed it. How did Dyersburg look against Crockett? The score was much closer than I thought it would be, especially the first 3 quarters.

"Hey pot, this is kettle, you are black." That is funny hearing a Dyer Co. fan telling another school that their coach "may need to learn to have a little more self-restraint". Obviously this fan leaves immediately after the girls play at Dyer Co.

That's a shame that Dyersburg (and Dyer Co.???) are loosing students to private schools in Jackson. I have always heard that Dyersburg had an excellent school system. Is this not the case anymore? (Not being sarcastic so no need to bash the school system. I was just wondering.)

Rumor has it Northview or Three Oaks (not sure which one) surprisingly got better with a few new players? Is that true? Just wondering.

Looking forward to seeing the Tigers and Crusdaders on Friday. Should be a great game between two good teams.

First thing, McCord was never given a tech. #20 was given the tech for telling the ref the call was B.S. after being warned earlier in the game to watch his mouth. Secondly, McCord started whining (like always) from the beginning of the game and did not quit until probably this morning. Thirdly, the referees made bad calls both ways but not nearly as bad as McCord acted like they did. He is the reason the game turned as ugly as it did in the end. He incited the crowd causing the police to escort several DC fans out of the gym for cussing at the refs and administration of Liberty. (Real classy by the way.) Fourthly, McCord did not go onto the floor to check on his injured player (Pierce, by the way didn't he play at D'burg last year? Go figure.) He went on to the floor to complain about the tech being called on Parr for cussing the refs. Real classy. Then after causing a 5 min. scene, spent about all of :05 secs. with the injured transfer. After the game he complained to the Liberty coach that they were cheated by Liberty and would never be back. Like the other coach controlled the officiating. And by the way, who said the Lib. player cussed McCord? Oh, that's right, McCord said he did. How many believe that? Not me for one. I paid $7.00 to see three good games and all I saw was a coach act a fool. You folks from DC must be real happy for the example he is setting for your Newbern boys (or wherever they are from). What kind of life lesson was being taught here? How do I know what happened? I'm an impartial fan sitting behind the benches and heard all of it.

Crockett lost all five of their starters and their first two off the bench but they are young and athletic. They will be much better in Jan and Feb than in November.
