Let me start by saying....I dont disagree that Brentwood is a good team and they will not rollover..(who would expect them or any other team to roll over when they have a chance to beat the number one team) I think/ hope it will be a good game and injury free...BUT Its putz 1 and Putz 2 that call out the team and berate them publicly on here that is the problem...Kingz615 talks out of his hiney and was one of the reasons the defense was fired up for Ravenwood..(frankly Im glad he keeps doing it) Yes we are a proud team and we are a disciplined team and it started right after the Brentwood game last year .We have had a week off..we are healthy ...we are excited...and nobody has had a chance to see our third running back who is quite a playmaker as well...Good Luck...we will see you on the field.

The thing I like BEST about this rivalry is that it seems both teams truly RESPECT each other. Its seems it has been very classy and no real name calling or trash talking outside of the game. It usually over many years has come down to one of these two teams. I have to give the edge to Franklin due to it being in their house...Only the second home game for them this year. It will be a loud, rowdy environment. Franklins fan base has been loud and very involved ...even at all their away games....listen to them on WC-TV game vs Indy..... Franklin 28 B-Wood 14

Good point BDD, Im a fan of your posts because you "see into the game" Im going to congratulate Franklins Fab Five , Jackson, Walkup , Combos, Edrinkin, Anderson..We as fans sometimes forget who is in the trenches play after play..These guys are tough! I have noticed that QB Nichols does thank them publicly in all his quotes..Saying the line gives hom time to throw etc. Same thing with the D line Howard , Shelton ,Wilson, Jervis....great job in your abilities. This would seem the case as Franklin is on a roll....but not knowing too much about the McGavock team makes it a little questionable.If they have alot of speed and / or talent, these types of teams can topple alot of teams on any given night. OK...they look to be as far as I can tell, evenly matched??? I think Franklins Offense is a well oiled machine.They have the dynamic duo of Keylo Lee and now the #4 kid Ford?....a good quarterback, and a huge offensive line that is pretty mobile. There front men on defense seem to be pretty tough as well....any thoughts? How is the Ravenwood Offense and Defense?

Now this week, from what i understand was as equally exciting game as the Ravenwood game.(btw congrats to the Raptors gr8 job) Not an article to be found.....this is crazy because I understand the Franklin coach has staed this is one of the better teams he has had in awhile....am I missing something?

As a spectator in the stands, i did not see the game the way the "Tennessean" saw it. With Franklin dominating MOST of the game, their headlines read..."Franklin holds on to a vengeful Burro team" something to that effect. Franklins Offense was one of the best that Ive seen in awhile...as far as a complete team package. Good qb in Graham Nichols, Good RB's in Ford and Lee..Offensive line look BIG and fast..and receivers , #1 Eaton...he was blowing by Eric Gordon.Lets hope that Franklin can keep it together for their season..Good Luck to them..Say a prayer for the injured player.. Hillsboro seems as though they will be a good team as well as long as they can get some consistency. Good Luck to them. Finally, Good Luck to the Tennessean, hopefully they can become "less Biased" and report the facts.

vroom [ I have been watching this franklin team...yes there offense struggled at the beginning...but look at the change, the backs have been hitting the holes with steam and the offensive line have pounded the defensive lines...It is Old time football...aka smashmouth....If the REBS continue to dominate their defensive counterparts, combined with a very impressive speedy, defense...LOOK OUT!
