I don't see Lincoln County picking up but 3 wins at most, as bad as I hate to think that. I talked to our local paper sports writer and he said he didn't think the Falcons would win but 2 games which would be the worst record for any Falcon team. The j.v. was bad last year and N.G.A did not win a game that I know of. We are looking at a bad 2 or 3 years as far as wins go I'm afraid. Having said that, I will be there to cheer them on. I'm not one of these fair weather fans. I'm a fan win or lose.

Lincoln County looks to be really BAD for the next 2 years at least. It's my understanding that the JV was really bad this past year and NGA only won 1 game if that. I don't look for the Falcons to finish above .500 this or next year. My not even get close to .500.

Any word on the injury and the young man?

I think you're right LC is the closet to being out. After last night I don't think they can win this next Friday night. At some point don't you go to over all record and points scored? I was thinking about that a couple of weeks ago.

Scratching my head over this game. Knew it would be tough for LC to win but good grief.

Hill plays offence only and with Jean he can rest some as well. As far as his injury goes I don't know what it was. He played against Columbia and I did not see him get hurt. Didn't know until the game last Friday that anything had happened.

Hope Lincoln County got a wake up call last week because they are going to need their A game to win this one. Should be a good one.

I have a good friend that is the PA guy for Fayetteville High who at one time was a big Lincoln County fan. I mean he would not miss a Falcon game. He told me he thought there would be about 3 on that team that might play had they been at LC.

There have been some battles between LC and Oakland over the years. Now they just beat us up too bad. I'm concerned with these next 2 games. Going be hard for the Falcons to win. They can, but have to cut out the mistakes we had last week to have a chance.

Yes Marvin's is still a good place to eat. The pit was once greater than it is now, had a college game atmosphere to it but that was back in the day. Good home crowd last week just wonder how many will come back after they saw the falcons get beat.

Sources tell me now that all may be back this Friday including Barnes. Radio said last Friday that Barnes was done. I had to ask my wife about the oreos, she worked the concession stand last week. I didn't know what they were.

Shelton Smith,# 4, WR/CB out last week unsure about this week. Ryan Hall #5 WR/FS banged up last week still played. August Hill #9, RB out last week, unsure about this week. Nick Barnes #48 TE out last week and for year. His career is over. All of these are seniors. Zay March #38 Junior DE/LB battled strep throat last week limited in his play time. Sure hope these guys are back. Falcons looked bad without them.

At least I think we still have the steak.

Still have the steak and a lot more. Deep fried oreos, chilling cheese fries and I don't know what all. Hill was out last week don't know if it was just that game or not. Barnes is done for the year and his career. Smith was out last week not sure about if his was one week or not. Hall got banged up last week and we had a defenceive end with strep last week. Sure hope we have these guys back as we are going to need them.

Thought they should have went more with Jean in the 4th but I'm not a coach.

The Falcons are just not the same without Hill and others in the game.

Kind of the way I felt like it would go. Just glad we got the win. Falcons need to pick it up now. Summit won't roll over and the 2 games after that are against a couple of pretty good teams. Go Falcons!!!

My first thoughts might be a little off. Looking like they might be better than 7 and 3. One poll has them 13 and another has them 10 in 5a. Been a while since the Falcons started 5-1 I think you have to go back to 2003 to find as good a start and that was 6-0. Wish I could have been in Shelbyville for that win. Loved it when I heard they were in an I-formation hope to see that this Friday night. I can't wait.

After a big win at Shelbyville how will Lincoln County play next week? three things have this falcon fan a little worried. 1) After such an emotional win it's easy to have a let down the next week. 2) Columbia is needing a win and having lost to Lincoln county the last 2 years they are due for a win against the Falcons. 3) Lincoln County is on fall break this next week and they seem to struggle a little in the game that week. I think Lincoln County wins but could be touch and go for part of the game. What are your thoughts.

Never saw this win coming to Lincoln County. I like to be wrong when it's like this.

I would love to say Lincoln Co. wins or even that these 2 teams are evenly matched and looking at their common opponents LC won as big as Shelbyville. However even as big a Falcon fan as I am I don't think the Falcons will have a chance. Shelbyville has run all over us the last couple of years. I just hope LC can keep it close.

Shelbyville has been tough the last couple of years. Indy is like a cat playing with it's food the first half then deals the killing blow in the second. That will be a game to watch.
