Being from Braemar myself I too will be there supporting our Dogs. Great game last night, enjoy it for a day or two but get ready to get back to work come Monday. Coalfield is the real deal and we'd certainly better be ready to play. Looking forward to going down.

Congratulations to both teams for making it this far. Give credit where credit is due. Hampton played very well and Coach Oliver and staff (Calhoun & James) did an excellent job. Finally got "over the hump" and won a big game, not only for the team but the program as well.

Good Luck 'Dogs...not many people get a chance to play in a championship game so don't take it for granted and don't be satisfied with just getting there. This is just the next step up the ladder. We're pullling for you at H.E.S.

King, are you sure that the '95 Hampton/Cloudland game only went 4 overtimes? I seem to remember it going a couple more. I could be mistaken but I thought it went six o.t.'s Maybe someone can correct me. The '96 Hampton/Cloudland game, Hampton 14-0 was also a dandy. Two great teams going at it.

Thanks for the response paintwatcher. So you are saying that you can take a player out even if you have no one to put in for them? And then put them back into the game at a later time?

Say a team starts a game with five(5) players and one of the players gets in foul trouble. The Coach takes the player out for a quarter to keep them from fouling out. Can this be done? Can you take a player out of the game with no one to sub in for him? I know that you have to start a game with five(5) players but you can finish with however many you have left, but I'm not sure about the substitution rules? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What a great society we live in. A team goes out and exceeds all expectations, wins their third straight District Championship, goes 28-2 and people are already on here bashing them and their coach. Shame on you. Coach Campbell is what you call 'good people'. I'd say that you people on here talking about him would be glad to have him coach your team. He does a great job year in & year out and does it with class, what more could a person ask for. I for one am proud of what the Lady Blazers accomplished and what a tremendous job Coach Campbell did with this team.
