Please, stop the whining guys. bands play all the time during a game, so should the band be banned from games too? come on these things add to the atmosphere for the kids, which is who it is all about. you wanna stop the horns then score more points than their teams, point blank. fact is these things were approved by the TSSAA.

How about Najee Ray, starting QB for Henry County. Doesn't have stats like the others because every game is a blow out and the starters only play a half but just look at the video and you can tell he is every bit as talented if not better.

alright, i got a question for everybody. how bout we talk about the football game? its for the district title. i figured yall would be pumped.

The Patriots becoming the state's new number 1 in 5A, Playing for the District title as well as the barrel and not mention its senior night for you HC all equals up to a heck of an atmosphere for friday night in Paris. I think Henry county may just score 70 in the first half and i'm not even joking. HC rolls big in this one.

First off I want to let everybody know that i'm not from mckenzie or adamsville, but went to the game as i thought it would be the best in west tn tonight. To me it was a pretty good first half but the real momentum changer was the fumble by a'ville inside their own 5 right before half, it really killed them. And then mckenzie just went wild in the 2nd half, so congrats rebels and good luck next week and go get the gold ball. also, congrats on a heck of a season a'ville. Now on to this incident, i sat on a'villes side and did not see it happen nor could the coaches for a'ville see it, so i think it is unreasonable to blame them and call them names for letting 44 play because they didn't know what happen. I also don't think you guys from mckenzie have handled it very well. one thing you have forgotten is that this kid is probably about 17 and you guys have come on here and bashed him and all of a'ville for it. thats just flat ridiculous and not becoming of true high class mckenzie fans. From what i saw a'ville and mckenzie both were playing to the whistle and giving everything they had for their respective towns, so please posters of both towns praise your kids for their effort and heart and not forget about them because of this alleged incident. oh and one last note, the bbq bologna was absolutely delicious , so if you could mckenzie fans pass on my compliments to the chef

So be ready in the districts, if we play you again, be ready on the diamond, and get ready when we invade your house this fall on the gridiron. you people are the scum of the district with the way you behave. Sir, to have been at the game you sure missed a lot. to not state how ridiculous the actions were of the policeman escorting out the young man is simply irresponsible. that cop used way to much unneccessary force against a person who was not fighting back the least little bit. That is beyond ridiculous. So sir start stating facts. and Yes the Rossview assistant coach DID assualt our player. so get your facts straight buddy before your start spewing lies.

Rossview is nothing but pure trash. point blank and simple. what them officers did to that young man is a disgrace to the whole department and I can gurantee you that cop will be relieved of his duties and sued for everything he's worth for his actions. that was pure ridiculous. then that Rossview coach DID assault our player. He will have charges filed against him too. Rossview is pure trash and will be reprimanded from the TSSAA, I can gurantee you that.

HC did not outgain melrose, I saw the stats. Plus HC had more turnovers than melrose so melrose outplayed them. but I've yet to see a HC fan say hey Melrose had a heck of a team. the melrose players had nothing to with the clock or the officiating. so give them credit for fighting just as hard as HC and playing one of the best and most intense games i've ever seen in person. Both teams fought hard. both showed great tenacity and miles and miles of heart out there on the field. So I'll say great job melrose and great job HC. Hopefully HC can break through this year and win a state championship for west tennessee. great job!

the drive you speak of a horrible spot and the drove where HC stopped them on downs are the same drive which ended in a HC interception took to the house, so karma worked out in that situation.

sorry but the pick is not what won the game. the stop on the two point conversion is what won the game. but anyways there is no since in trying to cheapen the game talk with your bs. the fact is tonight we saw a whale of a game between two great teams. hopefully the HC fans can give some credit where credit is due. and that is that melrose outplayed the patriots. they've got a heck of team. but the big red won. so good luck to the patriots in nash city, this is the one you MUST win.

I live in a different county too but unlike vol i love those darn horns. thats the coolest thing i've ever seen at a game and it really adds to the atmosphere. i will be coming back tomorrown night for the 2nd time to HC. hopefully yall's secondary will be ready and yall can pull it out. good luck hc

at least one time a year a team plays a bad game. it happens every year to every team in all levels of football. and it sounds like HC is due to have theirs considering the perfection you all speak of.

the guy decked out in florida gear was charlie strong, the defensive coordinator for the gators. and yes i am 100% because i've talked with him on previous occasions and actually had a short little chat with him friday night. anywho just wanted to clarify.

not trying to start anything here just stating what i saw. kingsbury had wide open recievers all night. after kingsbury connected on that long pass play they came back on the very next drive and threw another long pass which the receiver beat HC's cornerback and caught the ball but, was called out of bounds. Even when #1 picked of that pass from HC there was a reciever wide open about 5 yards in front of him the QB just didn't see him for whatever reason. Kingsbury had wide open recievers on other plays the qb either just missed his target or recievers dropped the ball. HC's offense though is as close as it gets to unstoppable when their clicking.

Your beating way inferior teams who simply don't have the ability to capatilize on yall's mistakes. your coach sure has been disappointed with what he calls "severe breakdowns in coverage". but at this time of the year it's all about peaking and playing your best football. do you think ya'll are playing better football now than you were in september?

well i do know that two years ago in 2006 you played 5A ridgeway and 3A southside with each having one of the best teams they ever had along with DC who you still play. so i don't think them being close is the problem.

First off you've played horrible teams all year long that is why your defense has not been exposed yet. your schedule is 58 out of 60. secondly westview will probably be the third or fourth seed so they probably won't be favored in that game. and liberty and brighton are not good ball clubs. And lastly the players do read what is put on this forum believe it or not, and plus they interact with people that post on this forum so there is a great chance for their level heads to be affected. your team continues to play worse each week instead of peaking at the right time.
