  1. Same to you guys, hope to see ya in the state tournament come May
  2. Farragut beat Flanagan 2-0 to claim the National Classic title!!! Pfiefer dominates, goes the distance: 7 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 16 K's. Delmonico goes 1-2 with a two out, two strike 2 RBI double for the only runs of the game. Overall, Farragut goes 6-0 in Orlando outscoring their opponents 60-4. Not a bad week's work.
  3. Here's the link to follow the game LIVE. http://www.pointstreak.com/baseball/sco ... agueid=148 Click on the link in the box score.
  4. Great Post! I couldn't agree more. I am not trying to bash either one. I have coached against and watched both guys since Dino was 9 and Phillip was 12, and have seen both be really really good. Pro's look at upside while us fans and even alot of D1's are looking for finished product right now. There is a big difference and this is what separates the two players. And to be fair, Willis from Gibbs is probably a better "pitcher" than either one of these guys right now, but doesn't have the mature body of Phillip or the electric "stuff" of Dino. What we as fans, parents, coaches and players have to realize is that "right now" doesn't matter as much as "what will be", which is exactly why Dino is the better prospect. Phillip is a great competitor while Dino is a freak athlete. And to answer your question Farragut U., just as NETfan said, alot of the best could care less about USA team. While it is a great honor to be selected, alot of guys choose to play showcase instead. Dino has been playing for the top EAST COBB team, (best program in nation) while Phillip is playing USA. Just a different path, not better or worse either way. Alot of people (and scouts) feel that Phillip is near his ceiling, while Dino isn't even close to his ceiling yet. As for Connell, I have had the opportunity to coach and watch him as well, and he has good velo but he isn't close to Phillip, Dino, or Willis in my book. He does have a high ceiling though. Will be a very solid prospect. Well put, i see where you are coming from now, and i'd have to agree completely with this. I'd like to see them go head-to-head in the state tournament.
  5. Pfiefer>>>>>>>>>Norris. Stats don't lie. Norris is inconsistent and cannot handle pressure. Pfiefer, meanwhile, is 2-0 in STATE CHAMPIONSHIP games. This comparison is a laugher. It's like saying Taylor Mays is better than Eric Berry just because scouts like his measurables. Too funny. Pheiffer = Solid D1 SEC Caliber pitcher 5th to 25th round. Norris = Exceptional Pro Prospect Top 15 pick of 1ST ROUND. According to one website, big deal. Tell me how the kid's gonna be a first rounder when he can't even get past the 5th inning against good high school teams, let alone pitch an inning against the Phillies. And if this kid is so special, why was he not on Team USA?? Seems like that team is stacked with only the top 2011-12 talent.

  7. Is Farragut getting screwed down there or what?? The website of the tournament has them in the losers bracket with no chance of playing in the championship game although they are 2-0. What's the deal??? Ihavenofriendz, got any idea?
  8. Noland from Farragut has 5.
  9. Halls is a mediocre at best team, just look at their schedule!!! It's laughable at the least and 4 of their 7 wins come over a terrible karns team, and two terrible morristown teams. Farragut would beat this pathetic team into a pulp, especially if Pfiefer pitched. Those "studs" from texas couldn't hold Pfiefer, Delmonico, Bennett, or Williams jockstrap. Have fun losing in region yet again. Wed Mar. 17 at Powell D W 1-0 Fri Mar. 19 Jefferson Co. N Hardball Classic at Morristown West W 13-5 Fri Mar. 19 Grainger N Hardball Classic at Jefferson Co. 13. From East Tn: 1. Pfeifer 2. Kid from Gibbs, Willis maybe? 3. Norris Everyone on here thinks Norris from SH is some sort of god... he's really not that great unless he's pitching 3-4 innings. He implodes after that, just ask Bearden last year or DC this year. Collierville has a real good lefty in Austin Anderson as well, anyone from Middle/West TN have any other names?
  14. It helps when you don't play anyone. Halls looked real good last year too until they faced a real team (Farragut) in the region. What was the score of that game again? 17-2.
  15. Anyone have any updates from the games taking place tonight? I know Farragut plays Baylor any other games going down?
  16. Well, Catholic is definitely overrated because they lost a lot of really good seniors last year. Also, Catholic finally grew a pair and got out of that lame private school division. They're pitching last night, from what I saw, is absolutely trash. I dont think there was a ball thrown above 80 MPH by one of their pitchers. Next, Bearden is definitely underrated. As anyone could see last night if they were there, Bearden's hitting was phenomenal. Garrett Sale had a grand slam and Drew Pasillas had a three run home run. The rest of Bearden's hitting was solid as well. Bearden is definitely going to be a contender this year in their district, region, and the state. Hey, how'd the mighty Bearden do against that lame private school Webb???
  17. If everyone could post scores and updates from today's games that would be awesome.. Who all is playing today?
  18. I really see CAK becoming a power in whatever division they are in (Division 2 I think) for many years to come. Maybe not this year, but under Coach Pharr's watch I think they have the talent and coaching to be one of the top small school powerhouses in the state. All they need now is a new field that doesn't have the dimensions of a girl's softball field and they'll be set.
  19. Probably, didn't feel like looking through the pages though. Apologies if he had.
  20. you are the biggest #### on all of coacht! you graduated three years ago and never started a game on thie field. you were the bat boy/manager that just talked crap that only his players could back up. get a life and get off of coach T you ####! I got some good laughs out of this one. Your name tells me everything I need to know about the level of your intelligence.
  21. Phillip Pfeifer. Top prospect in the state according to unapproved website.
  22. we have opened a few cans of whoop booty on Farragut....2 games from last year were pure domination If my memory serves me correctly, Farragut has put the all mighty owls out of the playoffs two of the last three years. So quit living in the past, Farragut destroyed ooltewah this year, physically manhandled them up front with TWO, count em, TWO freshmen. And when has ooltewah done anything significant in football? Talk about pretenders... undefeated this year and lose their last two games hahaha. Farragut on the other hand lost 3 games this year, to probably the best two teams in the state. It's a shame Riverdale and Maryville have to meet in the semi's, because i'm sure whoever wins this game will win state as well. I just don't see a team that would be capable of beating the winner of those two teams, because they are both nasty. The truth is, i think everyone including myself, under estimated Maryville's ability to play up a classification. But in reality, as long as George Quarrels is at Maryville, they will be competing for championships no matter what level they're at. He's just lightyears beyond every other coach in high school football in Tennessee and it shows on the field. So phishdad, how bout you go yell at your coach or punch a teammate in the face or whatever it is yall do down in ooltewah, because yall haven't been playing for weeks now and no one cares about any of your incoherent ramblings.
  23. I think i have more baseball knowledge in one finger than most of the idiots who post on here. Call what i say arrogant, cocky, or whatever but it is right. Sorry you cheer for catholic and your school is not relevant in any sport anymore now that your playing with us big boys. Come talk to me when you know something about baseball.
  24. Now whoopie dont git all hi and falootin'....Jist caws sum peepull haiv tham big boats ankerred at Concord and eye haiv a plywood john boat tied up at Prayter Flatts.....Butt eye haiv a lot keyboardin' errurs two.....And hits rilly spelt "speek"....eye thank.... You're both wrong. It's S-P-E-A-K. I'm glad my 5th grade teacher taught me how to spell.
  25. That may win for dumbest post of the century. When's the last time anyone from Middle Tennessee won a state title in baseball? It's been dominated by East/West teams all decade long. More specifically Farragut and Bartlett... but i was trying to spare your feeling. Should i tell you Farragut's resume recently over Middle Tenn teams?? It's not pretty...
