You and ole 3rd and long have set a tough standard. 3rd and long won the regular season contest. There are a lot of tough pickers in this contest. It is fun trying to predict.

One other unbelievable statistic. First place hit 93.75% of games the first week of the playoff games, tied for 3rd place was 87.50%, and tied for 21st was 81.25%. Normally if you hit 80% you're in first place. A bunch of people did a fantastic job of picking the first week of the playoffs.

I hit both of my dogs...( Milan and Oneida) was 13 and 3 for the week and am tied for 21st place. Are you kidding me???? You all are like Nostradamus picking these. I thought I would be near the top until I checked the standings LOL

Hampton must have made some adjustments at half. It's now 30 to 19 Hampton leading.

You are so right, not wise to predict future games from previous scores. It is all about matchups. I think that's why even the best pickers on here still miss around one out of four games. Unless you know the personnel of both teams and how they play it's really tough to predict,

That is one of the games I didn't make it to this year but I heard Hampton had about five turnovers versus PF. If what I heard is true then it's no wonder we lost that game.

I am seeing 5 pups... well six including Hampton...however sometimes pups get run over LOL... however I'm not including Hampton in the run over category this week. I expect the dogs to turn into raging wolves lol

I've still got five games I've not picked yet I'm thinking about becoming a Riverboat gambler but I'm not sure if I want to try that or not

I just voted for Hampton and we're still a 49.5% underdog.. oh well I guess that's the chance for you and I to move up a little in the standings.

I don't blame you, where you're standing you need to take a few risks this last week. That's your only chance of catching third and long . If you hit the pups you might shock the coacht world. Good luck this week

Good question . I've got an opinion on this. Unaka geographically is a lot closer to Elizabethton than Cloudland. It's just my opinion but I'll bet Elizabethton gets a lot more Unaka athletes then Cloudland athletes over the years. I know Elizabethton got the Russell kids from Cloudland but that's about it over the years that I can think of from Cloudland. If you're a decent football athlete from Unaka, you probably go to Elizabethton. I'm not saying I agree with this but it is what it is.

I'm like you Harley I went 14 and 4 this week too and dropped from 10 to 12. There are some fantastic pickers at the top and you are one of them. At least I started hitting several of my 50/50 pics. Guess I better keep this Penny I found for the next couple weeks for those games

You are right you are still very much in this ball game. Now for me......I knew after we talked last night that one of us was going downhill because we had opposite pics for several LOL..... just so happens I was the one that went sledding. Also, one has to hit those 50/50 games and the last couple weeks I've been on the wrong one of the stick of several of those. Guess I'm going to have to find me a lucky penny like that Ace uses.
