The best team in Middle Tn. is Community. They have played a tough schedule and Pierce is one of the best players around. Will be in State!

When Community gets Simmons back, they will probably replace Moore Co. Other three by far the best. Rest of teams can pull upsets.

You are almost correct. In Nashville, you have to have x amount of minorities and that is how they recruit players. If you see a true academic magnet school, they are usually not very good. This is how a Liberty Tech can win a state championship in such a short time. Magnet schools should have to play at the AAA level because of this advantage.

Funny how half of the ten are private or Magnet schools. They all should have to play in private or AAA. Was private/public discussed at the recent TSSAA meeting?

What happened to Moore Co.?

He played. Was surprised by MTCS. Eagleville played a tough game in OT on Monday night. MTCS is much better than expected after losing so many from last year.

Eagleville will give them a challenge and get at least a split. These are the best two teams.

This is true if you have a talented team but not if you are trying to build from the bottom. Sometimes you need to have success to build upon.

FC would have to be the favorite with Eagleville not far behind. After that it will be a dog fight for 3rd. Community will be much better when Pride and Simmons return. They also have a 6'5 transfer from MTCS who should be eligible soon. Forrest always manages to be a factor. MTCS will be better than most expect after losing all their starters from the Spears team. MC and Huntland will be fighting to get in mix.

Time for CPA to go private! Problem is the TSSAA could care less if they get players from Iowa.
